Zeus is King of the Greek Gods and rules on Mount Olympus.
Zeus is the son of the Titans Kronos and Rhea. While Technically the youngest son of Kronos and Rhea he is also considered the eldest child because his siblings required "disgorging" from Kronos' stomach in order to be born.
Zeus is married to Hera, his sister, and together they birthed the Gods Ares, Hebe and Hephaestus. Zeus had many extramarital affairs which lead to the births of many Godly and heroic offspring, including Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Persephone, Dionysus, Perseus, Heracles, Helen of Troy, Minos, and the Muses. In some myths Zeus is also said to have sired Aphrodite with the goddes Dione.
Zeus is respected as an allfather and chief of all the gods. According to Walter Burkert in the book Greek Religion "Even the Gods who are not his natural children address him as Father, and all the gods rise in his presence."
Zeus' symbols are - Thunderbolt, eagle, bull, and oak. Sometimes Zeus is also referred to as "cloud-gatherer"
