Well it depends on how you enjoy it. That seems obvious but it makes sense when you think about it. A show is as good as it entertained the audience. Most anime viewers like me just wanna see cool anime fights or interesting powers. Because the plot is almost never the main focus, sorry if you're a critical genius or something. Can't expect it to be perfect when it's written by one guy once a week, either.

It is an excuse. People use few-and-far-between examples and compare to every other anime expecting them all to have exceptional story and art at the same time. My point was that if you expect that much storyline, manga isn't the best place to look.

But if that is the situation, people need to stop overhyping stuff. Just leads to dissapointment

It does lead to disappointment, but it's ittedly fun. For me personally, the wait is sometimes the most exciting part. I'm weird like that.
