Hōkago Kitaku Biyori gets Anime

The official X for Futabasha's Web Action service revealed that Mai Matsuda's Hōkago Kitaku Biyori (A Fine Day for Going Home After School) manga has an anime adaptation in the works. The announcement did not reveal the format for the anime.

The manga centers on Shun, a new student who is invited to be a part of the "Go-Home Club" (a Japanese slang term for people who do not participate in afterschool club activities and go home instead) by a girl nicknamed "Go Home." While at first he refuses, the girl does not seem to take no for an answer, and he is forced into going along with her.

Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl gets Anime

AnimeFesta announced that Norito Asaduki's Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl adult manga is getting an anime adaptation.

Coolmic describes the series:

   "D-...! Don't tell her. I'll do anything..." The popular talent, Ren Arisugawa... is actually a girl! This situation, I'll use it to my advantage... okay?

Sono Keisatsukan, Tokidoki Yajū! gets Anime

Ichijinsha announced that Sigma Torai's Sono Keisatsukan, Tokidoki Yajū! (That Policeman, Sometimes a Beast!) adult manga is getting a television anime adaptation that will air this year.

The manga centers on the timid office worker Hiyori and the policeman Kumano. Hiyori by chance gets into an accident one day, and breaks her arm. Kumano, who was present at her accident, feels responsible and decides to live with her to her while her arm heals. Hiyori feels at ease because Kumano is a policeman, but Kumano in truth has little self-restraint.

Kazuhiro Toda is the chief director for the anime at Rabbit Gate, and Saburou Miura is directing the anime and writing the scripts. Yukihiro Makino is the assistant director, Haruna Kamiyama is the character designer, and Hisayoshi Hirasawa is the sound director.

BanG Dream! Ave Mujica gets Sequel

The staff for the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica anime announced in a video a new sequel anime series. There will be filming in northern Europe for the sequel.

The anime premiered in Japan on January 2. Crunchyroll is streaming the series. BanG Dream! Ave Mujica is a sequel to the BanG Dream! It's MyGo!!!!! anime.

Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun gets Sequel

The official website for the second season of the anime adaptation of Iro Aida's Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun manga revealed that the anime will get a sequel that will premiere on TBS and its s in July 2025, and will air on Sundays at 4:30 p.m. JST.

The anime's second season premiered on January 12. Crunchyroll streams the new season as it airs in Japan, and also streams an English dub.

Blue Box gets 2nd Season

The official X for the anime of Kōji Miura's Blue Box announced that the series is getting a second season. The staff unveiled a video and visual.

The anime debuted on television in Japan on October 3. The anime began streaming on Netflix on October 4 (Japan time), where it streams weekly. The first season aired for two consecutive cours (quarters of a year).

Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You gets 2nd Season

The official X for the television anime of Haruka Mitsui's Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You manga announced that the series is getting a second season. The staff streamed a promotional video.

The anime premiered on January 9. Crunchyroll is streaming the serries as it airs in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. The company is also streaming an English dub.

Medalist gets 2nd Season

The staff for the television anime of Tsurumaikada's Olympic ice-skating manga Medalist announced the series will get a second season. A promotional video was released.

The anime premiered in Japan on January 4. Disney+ streamed the anime. The anime also spawned a net radio program on YouTube.

Blue Miburo gets 2nd Season

The staff for the television anime of Tsuyoshi Yasuda's Blue Miburo manga revealed that the anime will get a second season "next winter." The new season will adapt the "Serizawa Assassination" arc. A promotional video was released.

The first season premiered on October 19. The series ran for two consecutive cours (quarters of the year). Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs.

Shangri-La Frontier gets 3rd Season

The final episode of the second season of the television anime of Katarina's Shangri-La Frontier web novel series announced the anime will get a third season.

The anime's second season premiered on October 13 and ran for two consecutive cours (quarter of a year). Crunchyroll streams the anime as it airs in Japan, and also streams an English dub.
