#CC3 Entry

I have.. literally no motivation to make the cover edit and stuff.. writing poems is kind of boring for me, I did it so much back in the kindergarten and till 5th grade years I kinda can only write them if I'm getting hit with a stick or something... But damn am I competitive so here's a #CC3 entry because I am not letting two rounds go to waste because, "This lame," excuse. I don't know if English people have a different etiquette for poems but I'm writing this how I to be tought. Though a 100 words for a poem is a lot... hErE wE gO

Written from the cat's perspective(?)

Upon return it had started to rain,

washing off the dust on the window frame.

Sitting down silently, next to you in aid,

I thought this would merely make you wish to turn away.

For rain and dark never seemed your suit,

making you come home soaked.

You once stomped in with dripping clothes,

sparing no time to anything other but to dress in dry robes.

I was prone to think that the wet and cold,

had made you hole up whenever it came.

But today, even storming as it was,

you seemed to shine like a sunny ray.

So I didn't think much and sat down beside you,

watching the rain drizzle down slowly.

And the loving expression you wore,

made me want to see you like this more.

So yeah, here you go, it's a poem I guess... you can tell all I go for usually are rimes every other sentence but I mean... if that does it, it does it.
