Never Let Go

She scrolled down on her phone in one hand while slurping hot chocolate in the other, sitting in her favourite cafe, waiting for her boyfriend.

Her eyes lit up and her face showed a small smile as soon as she noticed a familiar figure enter the cafe. She spotted him and waved at him, and he waved back, slowly making his way towards her table. He pulled out a chair and sat in front of her. "So how have you been?"

"Great and you?" she asked putting down her phone on the table.

"Awesome. So...what have you decided?" he asked, making an eye with her. "Decided?" she chuckled a bit, "it's not my decision Tae. Its yours. And there is nothing to decide. You gotta accept this and purse your dream."

He looked down at the table, sighing and thinking about the audition. He auditioned in a company and was accepted as a trainee. His dream of being a singer was finally going to be fullfilled. "But for that I'll have to move to Seoul, away from you," he said, pouting.

"Aish don't think about me! This is your dream Tae. This opportunity is special. Just go for it!"

"I know you're sad yet you're trying to be strong..." he mumbled in a low voice and she looked down. It was true. She loved him more than anything and there was no way she could live without him. Same goes for him. But there was no other choice. She didn't want to stand in between him and his dream.

"I'll be okay...you'll be too," she gave him a fake smile and he shook his head. "Can't you come along with me to Seoul?" he asked and she gently shook her head with a disappointed look. "I can't, and you know that."

He just sighed and slowly nodded his head.

It was past 12. He just laid on his bed staring at the ceiling, thinking about her. He didn't want to let go, never in forever, but he had to. Just then a small beep was heard from his phone indicating that he got a message. He quickly opened it knowing that it was her.

Anna: Hey you still up?

Tae: Yup

It had become a daily habit, their late night chats. Just talking to each other, teasing each other, having a great time talking to each other, and then falling asleep. It was a daily routine, every night.

Anna: I wanted to tell you something.

Tae: What is it?

Anna: Let's break up-

Tae: hUh

Tae: hUH

Tae HUH

Tae: What do you mean??!! Don't you love me anymore??!! Are you mad at me??!! Did something happen??!!

She chuckled seeing his replies on her screen. "Yahh..he seriously thinks I'm just gonna leave him this easily?"

Anna: Yahh I'm kidding I love you

Tae: Wait whut- aishh this girl! You gave me a heart attack!

Anna: I know I know I'm sowwyyy~~

Tae: I'm leaving you this time but don't do it again :unamused:

Anna: Haha I won't. Anyways- I actually have something to say.

Tae: Oh tell me~ oh yeah oh yeah~

Anna: Shut up and listen boi!

Tae: Okay okay! I'm listening

Anna: So you that foreign school I wanted to get in?

Tae: The one you applied for and gave some tests for?

Anna: Yes. Well so actually I got the news this evening that I got an ission in the college

Tae: .....wait REallY?! Oh my gosh I'm so happy!! Congo Annie your dream of studying abroad is finally gonna be true!

Anna: yes! I'm happy too but you're missing a point there...

Tae: Wait a minute...so that means...you're leaving the country? :no_mouth:

Anna: Yes

Tae: Till when

Anna: I donno...maybe a few years?

Tae: When are you leaving?

Anna: Well I gotta go and shift there and all that's why I gotta go early so...tomorrow early morning

Tae: *seen but no reply*

Anna: Tae?

Anna: Tae you there?

Tae: Can I meet you right now?

Anna: Now?? But where...

Tae: Park. I'm on my way

Anna: Okay...I'll sneak out... I'm coming

She stepped out of the house, the cold breeze hitting her bare arms. She stated making her way to the park. On reaching there, she saw no one and started to take a walk around until she heard a familiar voice, "Anna..."

She turned around and saw him standing in front of her. He came closer to her and hugged her tight. She hugged him back. "Why did you want to meet me this late?"she asked without breaking the hug.

"Because I knew you'll be gone when I wake up next morning," she just closed her eyes and stayed in his embrace. After a while, they pulled away from the hug and looked at each other. "So is this the last goodbye?" she asked.

"What? No way! This is not the end. I'll wait for you till you come back," he said still holding her in his arms. "But you'll leave to Seoul...and then one day you'll debut and become famous...you'll have millions of fans and you'll be engaged in your stuffs. Will you even me-" he cut her off by gently pressing his lips onto hers and pulled away after a while.

"No matter how long you're gonna take, no matter if I have million fans or just one, one day, we both will come back to each other. We'll be just like we are now."

"I'll never let go."

The next morning, she went abroad to purse her studies, and a few days after he went to Seoul to purse his dream. As time ed, they got engaged with their own life and soon lost touch with each other.

After 5 years

She went and took a round around the park. "Ahh it feels good to be back here," she closed her eyes and smiled letting the cold breeze caress her face. "Ahh I wonder how is he..."

Even though they lost touch, she was still pretty much updated about him. She heard that he debuted as a member of the boyband BTS...and they were very successful and popular. She wasn't completely updated about all their activities though, since she was busy with her stuff.

Being back to Daegu after so long, she decided to just visit some random places. She was just roaming here and there in the city when she saw a crowd around a building. She got curious and went near the crowd. She saw many girls and a few guys too with posters in their hands and their faces showed their excitement.

"Uh hey, can you tell me what's going on here?" she asked a random girl. "Ahh you don't know? Today a very famous band is going to have a fanmeet here. Daegu is the hometown of two of the of the band."

'Really?' She thought? 'Who could it be?' Just then, a van was parked beside the crowd and everyone started cheering, "BTS! BTS! BTS! BTS! BTS!"

"Wait BTS?? It's BTS?? They're here? Does that mean..."

Soon 7 tall and handsome boys came out of the van and stood beside the crowd, some were waving while some were shaking hands with the crowd. She recognized them, the of BTS.

She went ahead the crowd, her eyes searching for him. The boys were about to enter the building when her eyes suddenly made with the ones she last saw 5 years ago. He saw her. She saw him. They just stood still staring at each other.

"Kim Taehyung..." she mumbled. There were thousands of fans screaming and cheering, but it felt like it was just her and him.

"Am I dreaming?" she asked in a low voice.

"Its our fate. I told you I'll never let go," and he smiled big.

"Kim Taehyung" she smiled too, never breaking the eye .
