about two weeks later , the rather pretty doll , which they later learnt - that the doll’s name was Jung hoseok , was currently kept in the bangtan dorm.

Taehyung was 19 year old, Jungkook was 18 year old, Yoongi was 22 years old. their other friends — Kim Namjoon , Park Jimin, Kim Seokjin hadn’t heard about the doll , yet.

taehyung wasnt exactly sure as to how he should tell this to seokjin ; jimin and namjoon. he could already think about a messy scenario in his head.

a)- seokjin would scold him and take out

his cooking pan to beat him

up with it, because of the

fear of doll movies like —

annabelle and chucky in a corner of seokjin’s brain.

b) - namjoon would probably give him

a whole damn lecture as to why he should NOT bring dolls , or rather any strange thing from behind an alley way — or rather ANY

strange place.

c) Jimin would probably poke around with the doll, like a 3 year old,

would probably flirt with the doll — even kiss it,

because honestly, jimin was a flirt. so he probably wouldnt be scared of the doll.

isnt that how horror stories begin?

well, for one , taehyung , yoongi and jungkook — since he gave the dare ,

decided that they would hide the doll, in the youngest maknae’s room,

since he lived alone.

as for the other rooms — yoongi and jin shared one , and yoongi was really good at hiding secrets,

taehyung and jimin lived in one room, and namjoon lived in a smaller room,

same was the case with jungkook.

a tuesday evening, jungkook was sitting on his computer desk, typing away — since the boy was still in college , he was typing an essay, eyebrows furrowed in concentration, jaw clenched.

he sighed deeply, typing a whole page before exiting his file, saving it. he groaned softly, turning around in his wheely chair and looking at the large , human sized doll that was kept on his shelf.

honestly; the doll wasnt that scary. it looked very pretty, with the most beautiful face, soft skin — but was a dolls skin supposed to be soft? he shrugged mentally.

with googly eyes, jungkook kept staring at the lifeless porcelain doll, its torso covered by one of jungkook’s hoodies, and they didnt care to give it any clothes other than that. the doll- in comparison to jungkook, was actually only a few inches short. along with that, the doll - aka Jung Hoseok , as its name , had a rather slender , very petite — twink figure.

after a good five minutes of staring at the godly figure infront of him, Jungkook stood up and tucked his hands into his sweatpants pocket, before walking over to where hoseok was kept. he knew that the door of his room was locked, so he didnt worry about anyone barging in.

the boy stood infront of hoseok, slipping a hand into the hoodie the doll wore, placing his hand onto the curve of his waist.

hoseok’s skin was warm.

how could a doll be so warm?

gulping, he cleared his throat and brought his other hand to hoseok’s shoulder, before lifting the doll off the shelf — and boom, it worked like magic,

chewing on his dry lips, jungkook sat down on the bed, with the rather quite warm and heavy doll on his lap. he looked up at it, blushing softly since he realised that he had such a pretty boy on his lap-

who are you kidding jeon jungkook? its just a doll, you are having a crush on a doll, its an inanimate object, it will not like you back.

that was true , very true. nonetheless, jungkook kept his left hand on hoseoks waist, staring into his grey and rather lifeless eyes, his right hand on the boys right cheek, and enchanted by how pretty hoseok actually was,

he took in a deep breath, a soft blush coating his cheeks , heart beating fast. was it the doll that was this enthralling, or was jungkook on drugs that he already wanted hoseok — to be alive?

maybe both.
