The Green Umbrella Children's Foundation announced that J-Hope, a member of the group BTS (BTS), delivered 150 million won in donations for children with disabilities to celebrate his birthday on February 18th.

This donation is expected to be used for childcare expenses, learning expenses, and facility expenses for children with visual and hearing impairments suffering from economic difficulties.

J-Hope, who is also a member of the'Green Noble Club', a group of large donors of 100 million won or more of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, said, “I heard that the number of vulnerable families is increasing significantly due to the prolonged Corona 19, and for children with disabilities is urgently needed. “I hope this sponsorship will further expand social interest in children with disabilities,” he said.

J-Hope became the 146th member of the Green Noble Club in 2018. In 2018, they donated 150 million won for nurturing talents and children, 100 million won for alma mater scholarships in February 2019, and 100 million won for treatment of patients in December of the same year. Then, in 2020, it delivered 100 million won to children in crisis families who are suffering from Corona 19, and sponsored a total of 600 million won.

As such, J-Hope continues to children from poor families every year through the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, and the BTS fandom is also adding strength to J-Hope's good influence by actively making donations. In fact, it has been confirmed that about 118 applications for donation have been submitted to the foundation in the name of BTS and J-Hope since the report on J-Hope donation in 2019 and 2020.
