Here’s my December #decemberthemes newsletter. I went with the classic theme of winter wonderland :snowflake:

I decided to paint a landscape for the calendar, and I wanted to paint something that was a starry night sky like you’d see in Iceland :relaxed: .
I taped the calendar part off using washi tape, to leave it white whilst I painted it.
I decided to draw the landscape out first, using a unipin fineliner pen, so that I could get the texture/shadows of the rocks on the mountains 🏔
I then went in with watercolours to add colour and then splattered it with white Winsor & Newton ink.
