Hello! My name is Lexi and this is my first post post on this community. I’ve dabbled a little bit with Bullet Journaling but this is my first real serious try. I finally found a journal that makes me feel motivated! This post will be a mix of an introduction, listing supplies that are my personal essentials, and a walk through what I have done in my Bujo so far. Let’s dive in! I hope y’all enjoy!

Art Background: I have always loved art so naturally while I was in school I took art from Kindergarten - Senior Year. Senior Year however I took AP (Advanced Placement) art.
Bullet Journal Background: I love making lists and my sister kept telling me I should get into Bullet Journaling. I dabbled with some lined note books as well as a dotted grid journal. Finally I have a grid journal that I got for $15 from Walgreens that I absolutely love.
Other Hobbies: I also love interior decorating/design, geology and spending time with my handsome cat Jerry.

• Colored Pens
I’ve noticed that the Papermate Inkjoy pens seem to work the best for me with minimal to low bleeding. The yellow is from a different set I picked up for cheap and it doesn’t bleed either and is the perfect shade of yellow in my opinion.

• Black Fineliner
My personal favorite is this Prismacolor Liner that I found on the sidewalk when I was out on a walk. It has minimal bleeding and doesn’t fade if I erase over it.

I personally like to collage things into my journal and this makes it extra easy and helps to keep everything as flat as possible.

This is important for me because I’m constantly cutting paper, stickers, tape, Etc. for my journal. A sharp pair of scissors makes this easy.

I really just designed these spreads based on what I like. I love lists so I’m very meticulous in doing the calendars and logs. I also tend to lay tape, stickers and pictures first then write stuff. Along with this I love color so the color typically works it’s way into all of my spreads at some point.
