I recently decided to start a thoughts and notes journal, separate from my main bullet journal. I did this because the spreads that I like using to keep my schedule organized didn’t leave sufficient space to allow stream of conscious thoughts to be documented.
I first tested this in my R&D journal where I try out my journal ideas before committing them to my main BuJo. I have found that stream of conscious journaling right before bed, or sometimes right after I get home from work, has helped me sleep better and has lowered my anxiety levels significantly. I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already!
I decided to create a themed collage of washi tape, stickers, quotes, etc, for each month to let myself play around with the supplies I have on hand.
The first theme I did for April was inspired by fantasy and Shakespeare and I added some of my favorite quotes from his works.
May quickly morphed into an Alice in Wonderland tribute. The quotes I included in this one were mostly from the book, although I’m very fond of the classic cartoon version.
