introducing my new color coded weekly bullet journal templates

because my hand written journal spreads have started slowing down, i wanted to move things digitally. i’m not someone who journals digitally, even though i’ve tried… i’ve tried writing penpal letters on my ipad, doodling, planning, etc. and it never held the same appeal as writing it all on physical paper. but that didn’t stop me from making templates.

the thing with online is you can find nearly any image, color, inspo you want and use it to create your own style. i’ve always wanted to add more images to my physical journal but never had access to a colored printer. i tried buying stickers to make up for it, but everything was the same size. no variety. no flexibility in design. and i used to wish all the journal spreads i’d find on instagram or pinterest were ones people actually sold for others. because not everyone is as creative or artistic, and it can be discouraging to want that type of artistry in your journal but being unable to replicate it.

so since i had the internet at my fingertips, i said why not. why not create bujo templates for others to use? i have a collection of aesthetic photos in my camera roll, just sitting in organized albums. and this was because i used to make aesthetic mood boards for my stan instagram . well when that died down, i remained with a ton of color coded pictures. either found from google or pinterest, i collected them like pokémon cards. and now i have this new hobby of creating digital bujo templates and i’m thinking… maybe i need more photos lol

anyway, i’m totally okay with never being able to use these templates. because just the act of deg them for my shop and for people to buy is enough for me. i’ll stick to my physical journal and hopefully pick it back up again. i’ve been a lil unmotivated in that department :/

okay before we get judge-y, i do wanna say that this is a work in progress. my designs hopefully will get better with time. but if small ideas start popping in my head, i like to let them out. and who knows, maybe someone will like the small idea i had and appreciate a simple, plain bujo design.

all of my designs are inspired by a ton of other things i may stumble upon. so if you’re someone who needs inspo for your physical bullet journal and happen to be inspired by me, i’m totally fine with it! not everyone journals digitally. i can relate. and i may be copying these designs exactly for my physical journal lol
