All About Me

Interesting challenge indeed... now I know a bit more about myself, :grin:

1.    How long have you been crafting for?

🧐 I can’t really tell you how long as I don’t

      really , I think since I was very

      young but only take it seriously a few years

      ago. My first craft is yarn (crochet,

      only basic level); then Paper’s craft, then

      continue with Altered art, scrapbooking,

      journal, miniature etc

2.   Was there anyone who got you into

      crafting? Who?

:sparkling_heart: My Mum is the one that inspire me to start

      crafting. She always take me to craft shop

      since when I was 7 and it is then that I find

      the crafting world fascinating and magical!

3.   What's your main medium?

🕊 At this current time is both paper and

      Polymer Clay

4.   What's your favourite thing about your main

      medium and why?

:pencil: With paper I can created any cards/journal/

     scrapbooking and with Polymer Clay I can

      created miniature items that I love.

5.   Is there a medium you haven't tried but

      want to? If so, what is it?

:kimono: I was going to says Resin, but I just recently

      try it out, so… it will be fabric to make doll’s

      clothes which is want to get into.

6. What's your favourite thing about crafting?

:heart: It bring me into my own Lalaland, I get the

      magical feeling, I am free of thought and

      relax. it is my own world I can do/create

      what I want and that make me happy!

7.   What are your strongest crafting skills?

:wink: I won’t said strongest, but I think my

      paper’s skill, it is definitely better than my

      clay skills.

8.   Is there anything you'd like to improve on    

      with your crafting? If so, tell us about it!

:dragon_face: Always!!! especially when I saw what

      Japanese’s artist like Tomo Tanaka from

      nunu’s house, I once sit in front of the

      screen watching Mr Tanaka work on how to

      create a tomato’s slice for 2.5 hours, that’s

      how much time he put in to create just one

      slice, that along have given me a big lesson,

      all good thing takes time, you got to love

      what you do and give it your :100: % in order

      to create something so fine and delicate! I

      want to be able to create my craft like his.  

      Mum always said we need to constantly

      practise to improve our skills no matter what

      we do, so we have no regrets in every way.

9. What's your most favourite creation that

     you've made so far? Why is it your favourite?

:heart: Ahhh that’s not very fair for me to answer

      and choose, they are all my favourite, but I

      share a few here.. if you like them you can

      check out my profile.

- Miniature Cakeshop, cos I created the shop

   from scratch and I can create so many

   desserts and cake to fill it up.

- Tipsy Topsy Turvy Naked Cake I love creating

   all the tiny flowers and it look so much like the

   real one that make me so proud.

- Tinkerbell's fairy wagon

  I like this one as it is one that I challenge

   myself to created it with mostly recycled

   materials.

- Miniature fairy treehouse This is one of those

   craft that I am please to be able to used

   recycle box to make this to something so

   beautiful.

- Japanese Ramen store

  Another craft that I challenge myself to create  

   50% smaller than the original kitset.

10. Who are your crafting inspirations?

🦋 My mother!!! Mum always never tired to

      teach me how to craft and how to improve,

      she is my main inspiration!!! Also

      Tomo Tanaka from nunu’s house

     _klein_klein_and CocoStyle2006 these are

      just a few that I get my motivation and

      inspiration from.

11. If you could work/collaborate with any other

      crafter, who would it be and why?

🤔 Never really thought about that before, but I

      think I’ll work/collaborate with anyone if I

      have the time.

12. Has crafty amino helped you on your

      crafting journey? (Tell us about it!)

:blowfish: Honestly, Crafty is my best friend!!! it is my

      Lalaland which I love to come and enjoy

      seeing other crafter’s posting, there are

      endless ideas and inspiration here, plus

      there are so many expert crafters here who

      are willing to share their knowledge with no

      hesitation, I think Crafty is just a place

      where every crafter’s dream come true, you

      can talk craft, sing craft, dance craft (sorry

      I’m being silly now :joy: ) but honestly this is

      the best apps I even own! Also with the

      weekend challenges and other challenges, it

      just make me want to constantly create and

      create!!!

13. What are your crafting goals? (E.g. open a

      shop, start a crafty YouTube channel, have

      your work featured in a gallery etc.)

:whale2: Love to have my work Featured in a gallery

      one day. I have my craft display in a 3 days

      craft exhibition as a Centre piece before and

      I just love it, so many people keep coming

      up and asked you questions on how to do

      this or create that, I just feel so proud and

      so happy that I was able to do that.

14. What advice would you give to someone

      who is just starting their crafting journey?

:dolphin: Never give up even thou you think you are

      not good at it, no one is perfect, no one is

      born to walk right away so just keep learning

      and practising eventually you’ll get there!  

      We are our own worst critique, only you

      yourself can decide what you want to be

      and where you want to be. Mistake is our

      friend and only with that then we can learn

      and improve. Trust me, I’ve been there and

      done it!

15. A random but fun question, if you could be

      any craft supply, what would you be and

      why?

:whale: I’ll be a polymer clay! so I can become a

      shapeshifter, change from a cake to a sweet

      dessert, or a Kraken to dragon… anything I

      desire! :wink:
