All about you challange

Hey guys,

This is a picture of a lemon slice i tried to make i saw a tutorial on youtube from a person who used air dry clay to make this and i used polymer clay i do not like how it has turned out but its one of the few clay crafts i haven't posted on here.

The answers to the questions are below.

1. How long have you been crafting for?

Ans: I've always been crafting ever since i was little but I think around 2012 when i was 14 is when i proprelly started crafting and buying all the equptmet.

2. Was there anyone who got you into crafting? Who?

Ans: Not anyone i knew, what mainly got me into crafting was youtube, the first crafty youtuber i watched was Sarah from Socrsftastic on youtube and she got me into polymer clay and thats when i first stared clay but i had tried knitting before this and a few of my mums friends had tried to teach me but i was not very good at it.

3. What's your main medium?

Ans: My main medium is polymer clay i love making little tiny things.

4. What's your favourite thing about your main medium and why?

Ans: i love working with polymer clay because it's so easy to use and there are so many things you can make.

5. Is there a medium you haven't tried but want to? If so, what is it?

Ans: I have tried crochet but never go the hang of it and would love to try that again.

6. What's your favourite thing about crafting?

Ans: That i enjoy doing it and love seeing the end result, also the fact that i've made it myself and i love having things that I've made. I always look at things in stores and think i could make that. Also when people think my creations are shop brought. 🙂

7. What are your strongest crafting skills?

Ans: i really woudent say any but tou cant really go wrong with cross stich so maby that and most people say im professional st polymer clay but im not. 🙃

8. Is there anything you'd like to improve on with your crafting? If so, tell us about it!

Ans: i would love to improve on my polymer clay skills defentley making my charms look more realistic.

9. What's your most favourite creation that you've made so far? Why is it your favourite?

Ans: i dont know really i wouldn't say i love any of my crafts but maybe i quite like the pizza i made Click here.

10. Who are your crafting inspirations?

Ans: Mainly its from youtube from people like Socrsftastic, sugarcharmshop and Creative Rachy and many more also i get lots of inspration from peoplea posts on here as i live seeing what other people make.

11. If you could work/collaborate with any other crafter, who would it be and why?

Ans: Mabye Sarah from Socrsftastic or Rachel from Crafty Rachy

12. Has crafty amino helped you on your crafting journey? (Tell us about it!)

Ans: Defently with all the weekend challanges there is always inspiration for me to create somthing new and i love seeing other peoples creations which also inspire me to.

13. What are your crafting goals? (E.g. open a shop, start a crafty YouTube channel, have your work featured in a gallery etc.)

Ans: I would defently love to start a shop someday but first improve on my skills especially in polymer clay

14. What advice would you give to someone who is just starting their crafting journey?

Ans: The best answer i can give for this is never give up, even if when you first start out and you think your creations are not that great still keep going and keep practicing and you will get better. We are all learning new skills everyday.

15. A random but fun question, if you could be any craft supply, what would you be and why?

Ans: proberlly polymer clay because it is my favrouite medium and it comes in a varity of colours and can be made into many things.
