Hi everyone, I’m so glad there is now a new weekly challenge onboard. However I’m not 100% sure if this is consider as one, if it’s not please let me know.
With this new challenge I like to share with you my remake Altered recycled sewing and Manicure kits, you can see my previous post. This time I’m using 2 empty iPhone’s boxes to create this as I run out of cylinders tubes. It was a great opportunity for me to challenge myself.
A comparison of the two projects:

This is also for my mate Myhanh’s birthday, she is a girly girl who always have a pouch in every one of her bag with nail clippers and sewing kits. At one conversation we had we were talking about how much fun it will be if we gone back to be a kids again to play with paper dolls, I thought that’s another idea I should cooperate with the creations, so this is what I created for her!

And yes!!!! She loves it!!! She can’t stop giggling and playing with the paper doll.

Paper’s doll
You can do a search on Google for free 1970s paper doll pattern free printables, which is what I go for and there are so many free printable to choose from. After you and printed then cut them all out. Noticed I shrink the size of the doll and it’s dresses to fit to the box.

Steps to create...
:point_right: 🏻 Once I got all my materials ready, I first
glued the two boxes back to back together,
:point_right: 🏻 Covered them with pattern papers inside
out.
:point_right: 🏻 Using the big lace I covered up the border
of where the two boxes ed.

:point_right: 🏻 With the flowers and the recycled bracelets
I decorated one side of the boxes. The
bracelets act as a door puller.

:point_right: 🏻 It then open up to where I put the manicure
set and the nail’s polish.

˚˙༓࿇༓˙˚˙༓࿇༓˙˚˙༓࿇༓˙˚
:point_right: 🏻 On the opposite side I used the recycled
plastic plate from phone protector and
cardboard to create a “folder” for the paper
doll which glued to the opening to where
the sewing set are.

:point_right: 🏻 It open to a plastic sheet act as a
pocket to hold all the dresses, and another
small pocket to hold more dresses.

:point_right: 🏻 Once it open, here you can see the
sewing kits also with a small piece of
sponge to hold the needles.

Wow! Paper dolls bring back memories of when I was a kid, I would even draw dresses for my paper dolls. I believe that it was one of the things that ignited my crafting fire in me, lol. Beautiful kits, very creative.
