Barbie’s Reversible Outfit- for Emily

If you seen this post beforehand Sending off Emily then you know these are the outfits that go with her. I’m making a post just for the clothing.

Meet Alix, my new Barbie. Alix is a yoga instructor and do part time modeling, she has a cheerful and friendly personality. :grin: She will be modeling the outfits for us.

Isn’t she beautiful?

Let’s talk about the outfits,

I’m using this beautiful fabric to create the outfits.

·͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙

Cutting it to pattern with the template I created.

Because this fabric is the left over from other projects, it is not enough to make a full length jacket, so I decided to make a short jacket instead.

·͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙

The decision to make a short jacket has rewarded me with extra fabric to create a sleeves top and shorts.

I used white cotton fabric for the sleeveless top lining.

Trying out the pants, look good so far.

·͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙

I thought it will be great if I added a cream color skirt to the collection.

And I add a pleat at the back of the skirt.

With that it also gave me another idea of using the same cream color fabric for the lining inside the jacket, so I also added this cream fabric on the collar as well, this now become a reversible jacket. :clap: 🏻 :clap: 🏻 :clap: 🏻

The stud earrings and the necklace (was a bracelet) is from Collette’s collections. Pretty isn’t it?
