Barbie’s Wedding dress

Hi everyone, thought I the fun of 🦋#ButterflyCrafts🦋 as well with my Barbie’s wedding dress with butterfly as a decorative item.

Materials used on it are mainly recycled. Leftover curtains laces, cotton fabrics, tulle, hairband and diamonds dots from my friend’s project, lastly a recycled Barbie’s doll box. The butterfly, tiny roses and string of pearl are my scrapbooking emblishments.🥰

How it all started is with my friend request me to make one for her Barbie, it took me a week to complete it, I’m not going to lied, is a challenge but I’m pretty please with the result.

I have to said tulle is the hardest things I have to work with so far, 🫣cos it goes everywhere :joy: maybe because I don’t have many practices on it, after all it is my 2nd attempt to make a wedding dress with tulle.

1/2 way through… I sew a piece of lace flower on the front of the top, white cotton fabric as based, I also sew the roses on top of the laces and tulle.

Here you can see I have already sew the string of pearls on the dress them one rose after the other. :two_hearts:

At last I sew the hairband and added deep red ribbon at the back and diamond’s dots on top of the lace. That completed the wedding dress. :muscle: 🏻 :muscle: 🏻 :muscle: 🏻

Now it is packed in a recycled Barbie’s doll box when I send it out.

My friend are over the moon when she see it, I’m just glad I can deliver it, :joy:
