Hey Everyone,

It's Phoebe, and I'm doing a blog I didn't think I was going to be doing. I'm posting for the "Are you brave enough" challenge. Earlier today I posted a work in progress for my doll dresses, my spring and Easter dresses which are going to be... or atleast were going to be the Easter exclusives for my Etsy shop this coming April. But I had a little bit of an inconvenient situation happen tonight...

But don't worry! I'm going to do my best to redo the dress if need be!

Well, earlier today after I posted the WIP blog I actually messed up on one of the dresses. Somehow one of the sleeves came out too small, but that's okay because I made an extra one for myself anyway so I was fine with mes one. I can always redo it at a later point. But then this evening I realize that I messed up another one of the dresses and so far I've not been able to remove the stitch because I did a reverse stitch on it because it was in the stress. I didn't realize that the fabric actually rippled up underneath the needle and was it was sewed together incorrectly.

<a href='/c/crafty/tag/BraveTuesday/'>#BraveTuesday</a> Entry!-Hey Everyone,

It's Phoebe, and I'm doing a blog I didn't think I was going to be doing. I'm posting for

I was quite upset for a few minutes, but then I ed this challenge. I thought "I can actually post for the challenge," because at first I didn't think I had anything to post. A lot of my first craft that come out wrong I don't have anymore. So with this little fail or inconvenience situation, is more what I want to call it I was able to post.

Even though I'm hoping I may be able to alter the dress and be able to fix it without having to redo the entire dress. I still wanted to post this blog to show, yes I do mess up on multiple crafts all the time. Some may not be as big as this kind of mess up because these dresses are for my Etsy shop and I want to make them as best as I can do. But yes, there have been many times that I've messed up I making a creation.

Every time I make a creation especially for my Etsy shop and I might mess up on a little thing I always try to work around it and alter my original design to fit the mishap. I always remind myself whenever I making something and it might not come out how I want it to be is that okay. "I making handmade creation, I'm not making perfect." If I wanted perfect I could go buy something from the store. Because in reality we can't make perfect, not ourselves. we are human we're not machine, so we can't make perfect.

I think that's what really sets handmade creations apart, because it's not perfect, it's not identical, that they all are different from each other, even if you create the same type of item they are going to be completely the same. They're going to have their differences and that's one of the reasons that I love handmade creations. I think a lot of people love handmade items because they all are different and they all have their little imperfections.

Like I've said this back in a previous inside sparkle is that I really believe that one of the main reasons that we as humans have such a connection with handmade creations is because we can relate to them so well. We are one of a kind, we are imperfect, we are different from one another. We may have our similarities but we all are different. None of us are the same. We might have things in common, but we all are different.

That's my honest thoughts, that's why whenever I feel like something didn't come out right or I didn't like how this came out or why did I have to messes up, I think about is we do mess things up, we are clumsy, we make mistakes, but again we're human. We are imperfect so that is in our nature. But that doesn't mean we aren't worth any less.

So, when ever I am making something and it doesn't come out right I always remind myself I will say this multiple times to myself when I'm making something. "I'm making something handmade, I'm not making something perfect." That always motivates me whenever I'm crafting because it motivates me to understand that yes my creations aren't perfect but that makes they relatable.

Never Stop Crafting,
