It’s me again

Back once again to share my artwork that’s taken me a few days to complete.. I kept getting sidetracked by random things that took my time from finishing this piece.. But anywho, I’m quite proud of how this one turned out. Like I said before, this drawing took me a few days to complete altogether. The drawing itself took a few weeks to even get started. Idk, I just kept mes during different stages, I’d give up after fixing one mistake. I’d end up fixing twenty different mistakes everytime I thought I fixed one- Kawaki gave me a hard time is all I’m saying.

Now that I am looking at the finished piece.. I think it might be a tad bit too dark shadow wise- I tried to give the illusion of Jigen’s shadow towering over him. Which I think makes the overall drawing look a little too dark. I even went back and cleaned up Jigen’s shadow so Kawaki wouldn’t drown in the dark shades. Idk it might just be me and how I’m looking at it.

I worked incredibly hard on this drawing if you can’t tell. I tried different techniques with lighting and shadows, I tried surface scattering for the very first time actually, I dunno if it’s really that noticeable- Maybe I should’ve tested it out on a brighter artwork instead of a dark and glumly one- Lesson learned. And i don’t know if you can tell or not but I added Jigen’s reflection in Kawaki’s eyes which- I did not draw myself, I tried, but it wasn’t working out well for me. So, I used Jigen’s actual model and it did the job. I’m still not one hundred percent sure if I like the look of it. I’m trying not to think about it Too much.
