Ice Breaker Challenge 🪡🧶🪚

Hi :) I'm Onyx! I ed a while ago but just never felt motivated enough to post, but I'm glad I'm finally getting to it!

On to the questions!

1. What made you crafty amino, and who are your crafting inspirations?

I ed because I love sharing things I put lots of love into, and I love seeing what others have done, too! I also love looking at other's art and crafts for inspiration.

Some of my art inspirations are Pine Bones, Morale Fiber, CozyPunk, and Bug and Bone. Also, some bands that inspire me are The Crane Wives, The Oh Hellos, and Stick and Poke.

2. What type of crafts do you like to make? Feel free to show us them!

I have done so many different crafts and art! I just love being able to do as many different things as possible. Right now, I have done crochet, woodworking, wood carving, wood burning, bracelet making, sewing, embroidery, weaving, finger-knitting, and more. I'll include pics in the gallery of examples! I also hope to try even more in the future, like kandi and book-binding!

3. What are your goals in your crafty journey?

I think my biggest goal is to become more consistent with my crafts. I'm sure many of you agree, but I feel like I abandon my projects way too often. I have been trying to finish old ones and complete new ones before moving on to something else.

Another goal is to just keep doing more and more different types of art!

4. Do you aim to sell your crafts or perhaps start a crafty YouTube channel?

I hope to one day sell all kinds of art at a market in a small stall, possibly with my sibling, who is also artsy! I haven't been consistent enough to do that yet, but maybe soon!

5. What are your favourite crafty stores that you like to visit?

One of my favourites is a store called Len's Mill. The supplies are so cheap because they get them from other stores and are able to sell at a discount. There is so much stuff, but unfortunately, it's only in Ontario, Canada. I also like Micheal's, Fabricland, and just the Dollar Store!
