welcome to my blog! today is a super special post . .

at the end of the blog, there are the two side charms used in the thumbnail. since these did not take much thought, i did not spend as much time writing about them.

here’s what i came up with!

unfortunately, i don’t play so i’m not 100% how everything works; i think i have a general idea though? i wanted the among us characters to play the game themselves <3

thoughts before making:

— i originally wanted to make just a couple characters with separate hats, but i saw this art piece after searching up among us! it was around 10 characters sitting on a couch playing the game.

here is my first sketch attempt. i realized that i could not make the characters small enough to fit the size of the couch, so i redrew it! i also didnt like how one of the side characters looked.

here is my second attempt! i followed this sketch for my final result.

struggles:

— ahh as always, i have a really hard time making figurines. i always get proportions wrong, and since my hands are very warm, my clay gets too soft, so attaching pieces with wire is really difficult for me. the piece always gets crushed a little ..

also, my hands became very dry since i had to wash them after every color use. i wanted the piece to be vibrant, so i didn’t want any stains from the darker colors!
