When I ed Crafty Amino, back in the month of July 2015, never did I imagine that Crafty

When I ed Crafty Amino, back in the month of July 2015, never did I imagine that Crafty amino would become such a big aspect of my life!

From the very beginning when Crafty Amino was first launched, the community was so full of life, inspiration and creativity! And at the end of February 2016, I was given the amazing privilege of becoming part of the Curator team and eventually become Co-Leader in January 2017.

Crafty Amino that had started out so small with just a few hundred soon became a place of over 300K ! And a place where i met so many wonderful people of incredible talents stay, come and go! With so many friendships forged along the way,

Crafty Amino had certainly become my online home away from home!

Now three and a half years later since being on Crafty Amino, I have come to the most heartbreaking decision I never quite wanted to it I'd ever have to make.

In real life, I am an aunt to the most amazing nibblings an auntie could ever ask for! And this year, I will be dedicating more and more of my time to them and witnessing those precious moments that once it's gone will never come back.

Juggling online life with real life have proven to become more difficult and the time has come for me to step down from the Leadership Team.

But I am proud and content in the knowledge that I leave Crafty Amino in the most capable and talented of hands!

All past and present committee have undeniably helped shape crafty amino with their dedication, input and creativity with organising events and challenges as well as just being their very best and beautiful characters! I don't think I have ever worked with a team better in any other place!

And of course, i must thank the whole of Crafty amino.

Every. Single. One. Of. You.

You guys have made crafty amino the very best place to be. I have been honoured to be able to be part of a community who is so enthusiastic and willing to share their talents, take part with the challenges and be an inspiration to each and every one! From the likes, the follows and the comments, you guys have made this place such a homely and positive place to be in that I never feel alone when I ! And I don't feel shy or ashamed to share my efforts and crafts, which is how it always should be with your handmade crafts! It was the very place I discovered the art of crochet and with inspiration from you all, gave way to my army of crochet bunnies! :rabbit: :rabbit: :rabbit: And it is wonderful to see that attitude with you all in your amazing blogs :heart:

I will be stepping down and retiring officially on the 15th January 2019. It has honestly been a great adventure and I am sure that there will be many more adventures in store for Crafty amino!

Always stay Crafty and be your very best! Thank you all for being part of this amazing journey full of memories I will cherish forever :heart: :heart: :heart:

Ahh so sad to hear that. Another amazing leader is retireing...You've been really amazing leader of this community and you've always been here, happy to help. I wish you all the best and looking foward to see some of your creations! :heart: And also congrats to Abbie for becoming leader!

Aw, Faz! You've done so much for this community and it shows :blush: Your leadership has been tremendous and super helpful as a newbie to the welcoming committee! Though I didn't get to know you very well in the short time we interacted, you've always been so kind and your ion for the community was always there! I'm sad to see you go, but I know you'll have a great time with your family :smile: it's the most important thing, so it's so great you're taking the time to cherish yours :two_hearts: I wish you and your family all the best! Awww thank you! Its been wonderful being able to work with you guys even if it was just for a short while, i can see you guys will do great with the welcome committee and come up with wonderful events.. hopefully some i can partake in too!

I’ll be sad to see you go. I ed a month after you so needless to say your a familiar face that I’ve seen through the years, it’ll be weird with you gone. Enjoy real life and soak up and give as much love and attention to those little ones as possible, they really do grow up too fast.
