Hello again everyone! :wave: :relaxed: I wanted to share with you my creation for #JungleCrafts! You may or may not know, but I've really gotten into tarantulas a lot over the past couple of months. I've developed a huge love and respect for them, so much so that I now own 5 beautiful baby tarantulas!
I modelled this charm after the "Mexican Red Knee" (Brachypelma Hamorii) tarantula! It's kind of a staple in the hobby because of its docile nature and gorgeous colours! I do actually have one but it's super small, just 1/2" but someday it'll look like this! :grin: Some Tarantulas do live in the Jungle, including the Goliath Bird eating Tarantula! I'd love to have one someday, they can grow up to be 12 inches in size! :scream:
:volcano: Fun Fact: Did you know that tarantulas have retractable claws like cats? :volcano:
I really did have fun making this! I hope to improve my technique in the future, but for now I'm quite happy with how this turned out! Thank you for reading! To end this blog, here's a picture of my largest bean! He's around 3", his name is Ash! Bye!! :kissing_closed_eyes: :wave:

I did actually add some yarn fluff for added texture! And thank you, I'm happy to hear that someone else thinks he's cute too! :heart:

Nice! I've tried using yarn fluff for clay charms as well! Tarantulas are kinda just cute in their own way. I have a similar thing lol. I love snakes but others are afraid of them :)

I love them too! I had to give my Tarantulas water but the one on top of my other cages was shedding her skin for the first time! so I had to water them the next day
Ooh that's so exciting! Two of my tarantulas just barely moulted too! :tada:
