Hello hello! This is my first post in this community and the timing couldn’t be more perfect because my Wooble LoTR collectors box just came in!
In case anyone doesn’t know what The Woobles is, it’s a company that makes crochet amigurumi kits for beginners and intermediate crocheters. Their kits come with everything you need to make the little plushies including the yarn (I believe they use something similar to t-shirt yarn), hook, all the extra bits like eyes, stuffing, and instructions. The instruction card will have a code and link to follow to get a digital pattern and tutorial videos to follow. They have both generic patterns like cats, dino’s, etc, as well as collaboration kits with popular media like Sanrio and Harry Potter.
I’ve made two already and I really enjoy them -I’m using one of the patterns rn to make a second plushie lol- so, as a fan of the Hobbit and LoTR, I was more that happy to splurge on their collectors box!
To preface; this is the most expensive bundle for the collab since it comes with a lot of extras exclusive to the box, however, you can buy just the individual character kits and accessories for much cheaper! I’m just extra and had the money to spend :sweat_smile:
The box includes the four collab characters -Frodo, Gollum, Gandalf, and Balrog-, the accessories that go with each (if you get the individual kits you have the option to get them with or without the accessories), specialty hooks that go with each character plus one specific to the bundle, as well as other fun items like a tote bag, little tin for the small parts, and a one ring tension ring! The box itself is super fun too! Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it also makes a little scene backdrop for the finished pieces! Each item in the bundle even comes in the little boxes so it makes storage easy as well.
I’m super excited for these kits and I’ll definitely try to to post the finished plushies as I get them done!
