Hello everyone! MC here! Today, I'd like to introduce you all to something I'm sure you've probably filled out a few times before. Namely...

The Welcome Project!

Wait, wait, please don't groan in disappointment! Something like a welcome post is incredibly helpful to help us all get to know each other a little better! I promise, this is short and incredibly easy! It's completely optional as well, so you don't have to if you don't want to.

How to Participate

1) Answer all the questions in a blog post(you are allowed to skip questions)

2) Include the hashtag #WelcomeProject in your post

That's it! Pretty easy, huh?

Questions

1) What is your name and preferred pronouns?

You don't have to say your real name at all. Just the name you would like to go by on C-SU.

2) How long have you been doing cross-stitch?

3) Do you do more stitching or pattern creating?

4) What is the largest cross-stitch project you have ever taken on?

5) What would you like to see in of challenges or events on this amino?

I'm still very new to being a leader, so any you can provide would be greatly appreciated! If you as a member do not feel satisfied with your experience here, then I am not doing my job; I want to make sure everyone can have fun, so any ideas you have will fall on open ears!

Just for the fun of it, I'll include my own Welcome Project here!

1) I'm MC Pinkieheart, but you can call me MC or Pinkie. I don't mind which one is used, since I respond to both.

2) I've been doing cross-stitch for around 5 years. My grandmother taught me how when I was younger, but I didn't teach myself how to read a pattern until around that time(I got confused by the symbols for different DMCs XD).

3) I'm not very into creating patterns, though I did learn how to do so in case I really wanted to. I enjoy the process of stitching more than watching a program convert a picture into small squares of a single color.

4) I'm currently working on it! Since the person who gave me the pattern wants to remain anonymous for now, I'm only really able to say that the project is 20 x 20 inches. The fabric is *massive*, but I'm sure the final product is worth it!

5) I can't answer this one. I don't have any ideas, haha!

I hope you all enjoyed this small addition to C-SU, and I'm excited to see who might participate! See everyone next time!
