●Help, Concerned about Mocha●

When we arrived to see Mocha today she was bleeding out of her female part. We know for sure she is not pregnancy as that was a concern the rescue told us when we first adopted her but we know for sure she is not. The only thing our boarder can think of is she was in heat. I have not noticed her be in heat but it is very possible. There was no blood yesterday so we have caught it very early, and our boarder said that it was bright red this morning and is now almost brown (which is good that means its drying up). It was not an extensive amount of blood just a little. She thinks it could be just because it was after heat as her mare just finished being in heat. But do you know anything that could be the cause of this?We have not called a vet yet but if this continues to even tomorrow or wensday we are going to have a vet come out asap.

●New Horse●

Our boarder is currently quarantining a horse for a rescue! Her name is Cookie and she is the sweetest darn thing ever. Obviously since she is only being quarantined she will not be here forever, sadly. But she is a Quaterhorse with a pinto coat and 13 years old^^

●Mocha's Progress●

For those of you who do not know, we rescued Mocha from a rescue where she came from the feedlot. She was in poor condition, she was very skinny and boney

But with good care she is finally up to health standards! And she is happy! In the last month now that she has a good diet, and exercise I have seen her run for the first time!^^ Her coat is something that is insanely different aswell, it may be hard to see on camera but her coat is amazing! It is so much thicker, shinny and it used to be dry and fall out so much before! Her hair on her fa ce has grown back aswell!
