BEHAVIOR

❈ Behavior is very important when dealing with other or s. We expect the highest behavior from our , as to try and avoid conflict and lack of communication. However, behavior is more than just respect as well. It's maturity and consideration of others feelings, or comion. Please have that when trying to deal with situations or when speaking to the team. It will make things much easier.

• RESPECT: Respect is something we take very seriously. To get respect, you must give respect, (although if if an member is disrespecting you, please report them to a trusted leader). Things such as calling someone names, making the person feel bad or making rude remarks, trying to manipulate people and other rude and immature behaviors will not be permitted. You can receive a warning for lack of respect to authority or other and a strike if you blatantly ignore the warning. Just be a mature and respectful person, and you won't have any problems in this department!

• CHAINMAIL: Chainmail are messages which are usually copied and pasted to someone’s wall or sent to them in private message. Chainmail will sometimes have a note at some point in the message which asks the reader to copy and send the same message to a certain number of people. Although some chainmail messages can be positive in nature, all messages which ask the recipient to it on are not allowed. The consequence for spreading chainmail is first a warning and then a strike if the issue persists.

• SENSITIVE TOPICS: What are sensitive topics and why should you avoid them? Sensitive topics include, suicide, self-harm, abuse, depression or anxiety topics, and the latter. These topics are as their name suggests, sensitive. They can trigger a negative reaction from an on looker, make people highly uncomfortable, and overall make the amino experience a bad one. These topics should never be used in harmful jokes if someone is openly uncomfortable with it, nor should be brought up generally at all. We understand the need to vent or if the topic is simply brought up, however in public it's simply rude and inconsiderate to talk about these sensitive topics. Vent in private chats with friends, or go to the Team Help Desk where someone may aid you.

• ADVERTISING: We do not allow making posts advertising your social medias or websites or aminos. Most of the time, they're simply irrelevant, and if allowed, the feed would be spammed with advertising that frankly, no one cares about. However, we do allow you to mention your social media or websites IF it pertains to the post, and the post IS NOT only about advertising. You may also place those in your bio.

• CURSING: Using swears, be that censored - sh!t, f*ck - or not, is simply not allowed in posts, public chats, or in private chats with who are uncomfortable with swearing and cursing. You may curse lightly in private chats with someone who doesn't mind, but no where else. No exceptions. Swears include - shit, fuck, ass, damn, hell when used demeaningly, and the latter. The use of abbreviations are permitted except ones including the F word - wtf, omfg, lmfao... instead use omg, lmao, lol, wth, etc etc

POSTS

❈ Posts are an essential part of the amino. It's how we truly share our ion for horses, be that through photos, stories, art, helpful posts and more! To make sure the amino runs as smoothly as possible, it is very important you follow these few rules regarding posts.

• SPAM: Our spam rules are as follows: you need to have a minimum of three sentences for regular blogs with no images. On wikis it is required to have 5 sentences because of its informational purposes. This rule helps us cut down on posts with no content being seen over and over again in the feed that can get very boring and quite annoying. Posts that break these rules will be disabled and you will kindly be asked to add the needed amount. We also do not allow the repetition of content posted in very little timeframe, especially if they're all similar or the same. This can lead to a warning a strike if you continue. Finally, we have a 5 posts per day rule. This is to cut down on the spamming of polls or pictures that will commence with the more lenient spam rules.

• QUIZZES: quizzes must be related to horses and must contain accurate information and still require photo credit. If any of these rules are not followed, your post will be disabled and you will be asked to make the changes needed.

• POLLS: As with all other posts, polls must also remain on topic and specifically relate to horses or the equine community. may not post polls asking what profile picture or name they should have and may not post polls asking what type of post they should put up or what they should post about next. These are not about an equine topic.

• OFFTOPIC: All posts must be related to horses in some way. Posts which are primarily about any topic besides equines, it will be disabled. Posting pictures of other animals is only allowed if the content of the post also involves mainly equines.

• YOUTUBE: YouTube videos can only be posted once every three days as well as most include at least one sentences about the video. Any polls about youtube will be disabled, such as asking what you should make a video on. If you would like to your youtube channel, please do so in this chat. Any posts made solely to your channel will also be disabled and you will receive a warning. You can mention it at the end of posts as a brief reminder, you CANNOT make a whole post dedicated to advertising your youtube.

CHATS

❈ Our amino really relies on chats just as we do posts. They're a grand way to make friends that share your love for horses! We have a few rules regarding chats as to keep everything as safe and fun as possible.

• INACTIVE CHATS: In order to keep the feed neat and active for everyone, inactive chats will be disabled and removed from the feed. Chats which have been inactive for five (5) days or more will be disabled. An inactive chat is a chat which either has not had any messages for five days, or a chat where the only messages over five days have been simple greetings or tags with no interaction. All chats which are disabled can be created new again.

• OFFTOPIC CHATS: This should be pretty simple, any chat that is not related to horses. All chats need to involve and equine related title. Chats that are Always off topic and doesn't talk about main topic of the chat will be disabled.

• DRAMA CHATS: Chats that have multiple reports of drama will be disabled, to put it frankly. If they constantly cause discourse, they do not need to be open. Drama should most certainly never be brought to the public or public chats. More information on public chat etiquette in this blog.

CREDIT

❈ Crediting writing, art, or photography is a very important rule. This isn't here to pull on your legs. This is a very real law that has a lot to do with copyright and such. Crediting is very important, claiming content that is not yours is in the end, illegal. Keep all of that in mind while you read about our crediting rules.

• ART: Art that is not the owners is not used very heavily here, but the rule still most definitely applies. Any art that is not yours must be credited properly, meaning either the name of the artist, or a link directly to the artists . The act of tracing art is very serious and you will be punished. Tracing or drawing over photography is not something we punish as harahly as tracing art however, you should credit the picture. The act of claiming art that is not yours can lead to a very harsh punishment.

• PHOTOGRAPHY: Taking someone's photography is wrong as they took the time and effort to take and edit the photos. All you need to do is give credit to the photographer, paste a link to their social media or to where you got the image. Taking someone's photos and using it without giving credit will lead to harsh punishments.

• PLAGIARISM: Plagiarism means taking parts of an article, quote, or other written work which was created by someone else, and then claiming it as your own. Plagiarism is a form of theft just like art or photography theft, and it is also illegal. All pieces of articles or writing that are used in posts must have credit to the original author or website if it is copied word for word. All posts containing plagiarized material will be disabled.

TRANSACTION OF MONEY

❈ Transaction of money includes buying something, in the case of amino, online through certain means. We have to take into consideration the age group our amino primary targets and attracts, and make rules around it as to keep legal matters away from the amino. Keep that in mind.

• PAYPAL/REAL MONEY: The use of PayPal, cash, credit or debit cards, or other methods of payment are not allowed on Equestrian Amino. Because these methods involve the transaction of personal information and can lead to very severe problems if a scam occurs, DeviantArt is the only currency which is allowed on EA. This is to avoid any severe legal matters from theft, scammers, fraud, and so on.

• ONLINE CURRENCY: There is many online currencies. We allow Deviant art points. We do not allow transactions of real money because it involves personal information which is dangerous and could be risky online. With regards to deviant art, any scammers who are reported will be banned. We also won't take any responsibility of any deviant points that are decided/undecided. Do it all at your OWN risk.

MATURE CONTENT

❈ Mature Content includes any type of sexual imagery, sexual references, or other content which is sexual in nature. All profiles, chats, and posts must be kept clear of mature content. ‘Dirty’ jokes are also prohibited and discouraged, but may vary in severity. The usage of any explicit sexual content, whether visual, writing, or otherwise, may or will result in an instant ban from Equestrian Amino.

━━━━━ • ஜ • ❈ • ஜ • ━━━━━

GORE

❈ To put it simply, extreme gore will result in an instant ban. Our amino has nothing to do with such topic, and some people are extremely uncomfortable or very anxious seeing extreme gore. Gore simply has no place here. For things involving minor cuts or scrapes, bruises, broken bones, and any of the latter, there should be a warning. We recommend just avoiding posting these kinds of things all together, as typically no one really likes to see such stuff.

━━━━━ • ஜ • ❈ • ஜ • ━━━━━

PUNISHMENTS

❈ To help better understand the punishments they could receive, we have the three punishments used below. We will explain each, how they effect you and your , and briefly why we would use such punishment. As s, we disable what we believe goes against this guidelines, we have that right. If ever you feel that one of the s has stepped over line, power abusive behavior for example, message a leader you trust and with proof and we will deal with it appropriately. Please know what power abuse is before claiming an is power abusive.

• WARNING: There are two warnings we give. One is just a regular message warning, used by all s as a quick and easy step. However, there is an official warning leaders can give that stays on your forever, so we are aware of what you were warned for. We don't give those our nearly as often, but still will in more serious warning cases.

• STRIKES: Strikes go on your personal record as well. These are way more severe and leaders can choose how long to mute your for, the longest being 24 hours. A mute is a feature where you cannot chat, post, like posts, comment, and etc. It's muting you and your actions.

• BAN: Three strikes, and you're out! A ban comes next, and usually three strikes means an instant ban. We do have the ability to ban right away as well in very severe cases. Bans kick you out of the amino forever, and you are not allowed to re it unless the ban is unlifted.
