Another Fáfnir post where the thoughts and theories are just as absurd as always.
fractionate:
•divide into fractions or components
—“samples were fractionated by electrophoresis”
•separate (a mixture) by fractional distillation
—“the products were fractionated with boiling acetone in a Soxhlet apparatus”
So I just found out that he and Ótr (which I will mention in another post, huzzah) have voiced lines. Go to the FEH official website.
Even Freyr has voiced lines. Also, low-key, I don’t get why they added the Brave House Leaders in there.

We all know the Nida-bros are gonna be summon-able eventually. They did, too. But what about Freyr?
Before I start with the voiced lines, I’ll start with the short info on him.
From “lowly soldier” to “King of Niðavellir”
I’m getting Helbindi vibes from him, since the former rose through the ranks and eventually became a general.
Also, I knew he wasn’t royalty by blood! I mean, it was mentioned in the story, duh—
Anyway, I do wonder what’s the story behind that. I mean, in Helbindi’s case, he did what he did to his (late) sister. (And because Surtr made things difficult at the time.) What about Fáfnir’s case (assuming he was an only child before adopting Reginn and Ótr)? Did he become a soldier solely to survive (assuming he was also an orphan on the streets at the time—think: Dorothea)?
”Re nothing of the past.”
Going further on that, what was his life like (before becoming into a soldier, for starters)? Again, was it like Dory’s?
Alternatively, going with the sibling theory, maybe he had a past, but was suddenly wiped out. In other words, someone erased their memories. (The same can be said for Eir’s.) Who, though, I’ve no clue. Another alternative is that (again, going with the sibling theory) he forgets them every time he is reborn.
I doubt the latter part, low-key.
…
Now, for the voiced lines.
I am Fáfnir, king of Niðavellir. You should kneel.
How about no.
Aw man, I thought he’d at least start off by acting kind, like Reginn said he supposedly is. Even in the other short description of him, he was apparently “kind and just”.

I can’t believe he’s gonna be one of THOSE people.
Maybe he’ll show his kind side in his future Level 40 convo?
Nope. It’ll rain Orbs if that were to happen.
Reginn and Ótr… I found them on the battlefield and brought them along. It was a whim, nothing more.
Sus. How old were they all when this happened? Assuming that they’re all around the same age (20s? Idk the average age for young ones at the time to the war.), that can’t be that recent (as in less than five years). Also, he had the choice to make them call him “Young Master” or “Leader/Boss/etc.”, yet he allowed them to call him family (Big Bro, etc.). I say he wanted siblings deep down, if only to keep him company.
Oh, and I wonder how Reginn and Ótr would react if they knew about this.
I will conquer all worlds. That is how it is, and shall be.
I’m getting Surtr vibes. Maybe this will change in his future Level 40 convo?
Again, no.
…
Final thoughts on his short info and his voiced lines.
I found a couple more, though I saw these ads first before everything else mentioned above. First time I heard it, I honestly thought Robbie Daymond was his ENG VA.
I would not be surprised if that were to happen. It’d be FEH’s Goro Akechi.
Additionally, somebody did a rough translation on his JP VA’s singing in the JP ad.

Going back to the info where Fáfnir doesn’t his past, this kinda adds up a bit. Though, that brings up a question: if he’s not from Niðavellir, where did he come from and how did he arrive there in the first place?
I theorize that he was abducted at a young age, then had his past memories wiped away before being dropped off at Niðavellir as a puppet for some higher being’s wishes. To go with the wish-maker theory (which is basically the same link as the sibling theory)—and to use some stuff from SAO—the crown was bestowed upon him as some sort of “Piety Module” on the off chance that he subconsciously drifts his mind off to his past.
…
Cheers to those who made it to the end. God, I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now, but just didn’t have the time for it.
Next up is my thoughts on Ótr’s voiced lines, and then (if nothing else comes up) my thoughts and questions on the Mirror of Niðavellir.

He's voiced by Griffin Puatu, the guy who does Chad
Dang, the potential of VAs…
(Basically, I’m surprised)
