Today, I wanna take a look at our favorite Archer, our Good Boy :tm: , our Virion 2.0, that's right I'm talking about Legendary Lyn!

Nope, I'm referring of course to Taco Meat! I meant Pineapple Boy! I-I meant, uh, Buys-Clothes-From-Soup-Stores! CLOSE COUNTER FODDER!
Yes, today I want to take our boy out of the trash and into the flames of war once again with this build.
"Lord Far-"
Why YES, we are going to be making a Close Counter build for him, you're so smart.
"...Close Counter sucks though. Ranged units counter-attacking anything is not as good as melee units counter-attacking everything."
Ok, fair point. Uh... counterpoint shut up.

"Wow Lord Farquad, I'm impressed. I was suuuuure that you were going to fit in Fujin Yumi somehow. Glad you didn't."
Yes well, some things are just too hard to make work you know?
Anywho, about this build.
Short Bow:
Let's have Takumi deal some damage, shall we? (At least when his special triggers) Defense refine to boost his bulk and special.
Shove:
Uhhhh... He doesn't like being close to people? Yeah, and he's a jerk so he shoves them out of the way... Or something I don't know this part isn't important. What is though...
Bonfire:
Yeah, you probably saw this coming. Bonfire takes from his defense stat to deal some massive damage, while having a manageable cooldown. Combined with his weapon, there aren't many units who would be able to take such a hit.
Close Counter:
Default A-Skill for Takumi. Made him a menace when the game first came out, but CC ranged units are all but a joke now. Like Takumi.
I'm saying he's a joke don't get butthurt
Vantage:
Takumi's "default" B-Skill. Back in Yee Olden Times :tm: , it was considered impossible to beat a Takumi that had Vantage active. While that was a bit of an exaggeration even back then, it's still a solid Enemy Phase skill for him.
Speed Smoke:
Look, now we are making him more like his evil possesed twin! Jokes aside, this will let him have a better speed matchup when on Player Phase (because even having 40 speed doesn't guarantee a double against some units, so this boost helps) Attack or Defense Smoke will work too depending on the situation.
Close Defense:
Gives Takumi extra Def/Res in close range, which synergizes with Bonfire, giving it more damage and bringing his Defense up to a respectable 42.
"Okay, sure this works; I still don't want a CC build for Takumi."
Okay, okay, okayokayokayokay.

Fine. I hear you.
My meme builds aren't good enough for you anymore, is that it?

I didn't want to have to do this, but you left me with no other choice...
"Wait, Lord Farquad, don't-!"

"...Oh."
What? Were you expecting something else?
"I just- I guess I didn't know what to expect. Uhm, thanks I suppose."
Of course! Now, onto the build in question.
Fujin Yumi:
Refined for his special effect, this will increase his effective reach, allowing him to engage enemies from farther away while staying next to an ally.
Drawback:
Gives Takumi the ability to pull his allies away from(or into)danger. Basic skill, very nice 9/10 bad graphics.
Blazing Flame:
This will deal damage to his target before combat to soften them up for his attack. I chose the Blazing variant because he could really use that 1.5x damage boost, and I chose Flame because he gets cool purple evil flames when he's evil so it's like he's letting it out in a constructive way. Change as needed.
Atk/Spd Bond:
Bonds give Takumi strength! (And speed) His weapon will 'teleports-behind-you-nothing-personal-kid' next to an ally, which will synergize with Bond skills. Atk/Spd for more offensive goodness.
Wings of Mercy:
Oh yeah, pulling out all the weird skills baby! Let's Takumi 'teleports-behind-you-nothing-personal-kid' at will if his ally is injured. Convenient and reliable 2/10 no big tiddy goth gf included.
Infantry Breath:
Not gonna lie, I don't what my thought process was when picking this. I guess you could 'teleports-behind-you-nothing-personal-kid' next to an Infantry ally and give them this effect, but whatever. Gasp, like the other Takumi build I just made!
Atk/Def Bond:
Bonds give Takumi strength! (And defense) Extra damage and extra bulk juuuust in case it's needed, like vs daggers, bows, etc.
