Mythic Hero Ótr: Kingsbrother reaction thread!

Depending on who you ask, Otr will be valued either above or below Seiros. I'm in the camp of favoring Seiros.

To start off Canto on defense I find to be very iffy as the AI will always use it to retreat instead of intricate ways the player can use it. It could even prove anti-syngersitc if you say, wanna use him as a wings of mercy beckon on a team.

I can't really decide if I like or dislike the weapon change from wary effect to follow-up, though if they kept wary they would have to chance his base B slot.

Brutal Sheel, Flow Refesh, and Menace all do a good job with his weapon to make him a effective sucide frontliner.

I'm sure applications will arise from the first cav defense mythic but sense he's more combat focused how well he ages will be called into question as once prominent combat mythics like Thrasir and arguably Brammimond have started to show their age.

Also, WHY ON EARTH DID THEY RELEASE G DUEL CAVALRY ON A MYTHIC (aka not meant for arena) WHO ALREADY REACHES THE 175 BRACKET?

Ehhhhh. I know Otr had it first technically, but we got S!Freyr first, who's weapon is basically the same effect, just swapping Canto for beast effects, and it subsequently makes Otr boring to me. Considering he's a mythic hero too, Duel Cav is effectively useless on him so that's a wasted slot. His weapon, menace, flow refresh has decent synergy at least, but overall just average imo

I like his character fine at least, so its not like the worst thing ever for him to appear, but he got lowkey cucked with release window and Duel cav.

I don't really want Otr. He seems meh to me. Everyone else on the Banner looks good to me, and I might pull for them. Either for merges or new units.
