So a long... long time ago, I reviewed Beruka's Kagero that was very mediocre. Not terrible by any means, but far from perfect. This is how she originally looked.

I bashed this Kagero in particular for being incredibly well rounded, but didn't really excel at anything in particular. Her speed was just low enough to not always make the best use of Desperation, and the Silver Dagger was nothing special. Not to mention how Aether took too long to proc without any sort of skills to accelerate the process.

How does she look now?

Let's just say... shes a whole new woman.

She has taken on an entirely new identity from her previous self. Let's begin, shall we?

The first thing of note is her weapon, the Ouch Pouch. This is an excellent weapon for short term exchanges or multi map shit like Chain Challenges, where her cooldown is automatically reduced on turn 1. She once again has the Spd refine, which works well with one of her other skills which I will get to momentarily.

Reposition remains unchanged. It's a considerably reliable skill, so I have no qualms with that, although I find Drag Back to be more effective with ranged units.

Aether remains unchanged as well, but works remarkably well with the Ouch Pouch, seeing as she makes it effectively a 3 turn special. Personally speaking, Luna or Moonbow may be better due to her lower bulk, but is overall effective.

Life and Death seems to be the new A skill but works well in conjunction with her B skill: Windsweep. Now capable of debuffing without worry of retaliation from DC units, this makes her a reliable damage dealer and a unit. However, I would argue that Windsweep may be technically bad with Aether, as it prevents followup attacks upon initiation. Unless used in long lasting battles or TT+ like challenges, Aether may never proc unless attacked where she is more likely to double, which is dangerous to say the least. This makes my comment about Luna or Moonbow more prominent, unless Beruka decides to make her use Desperation again.

Her C skill also took a drastic turn, becoming Odd Atk Wave, making her more powerful than ever. This also compliments her Sacred Seal: Heavy Blade. Personally speaking, if you wish to keep Windsweep, having the Atk Smoke Sacred Seal may be much better, as if she isn't able to finish the enemy, or if there are more inbound, she can still have a chance to survive. Heavy Blade I feel should be saved for more of a offensive Kagero, rather than running a debuffer.

Overall, this certainly isn't a bad build, but I feel as if she has some missed potential, as her skills seem to go against each other. While the execution seems to work in his favor, I feel that Kagero can probably use a bit more polish before reaching her true potential.
