1) What is the CYH Shack?
The CYH Shack is an official club for s on the Fire Emblem Heroes Amino to chat and make custom heroes. Here at the CYH Shack, we promote creativity above all else. I'll give you a quick rundown on the rules;
Shh, it's just the amino's guidelines.
2) What is the Catalog?
The catalog is a Google Doc file that contains the best-of-the-best CYHs, as agreed upon by the criteria. The units in the catalog are like a raised bar for new to try and reach, shining stars of what they could become. The catalog requirements are as follows;
- must be balanced units, with interesting and fair concepts
- must follow current gen BST rules
- weapon and skill effects must be balanced
- must contain quotes
Regular Banner Criteria
- if a banner, must state who's the demote and who's the free unit
- banner must have a coherent theme
Blessed (Mythic/Legendary) Hero Criteria
- Only one exclusive skill (If the Uninheritable skill is on more than one unit, it's not exclusive, just Uninheritable, I.e Dance, Fire Emblem)
- Must state the blessing and type of Blessed Hero
- must state who else is on the banner
3) Are there events involving the catalog?
Short answer: yes
Customizer's Clash
Customizer's Clash is a tournament style event where randomly generated teams of 2-4 have to work together to win in a battle of the ages where, each round, you're given a prompt and have to make a banner out of the prompt within 4-5 business days. All CYHs made during the event are put into the catalog, and who knows, maybe they'll be used in a custom heroes version of Summoner Skirmish?
4) What defines a featureworthy CYH-Blog?
A featureworthy CYH has to follow all the criteria, as well as being well-formatted and researched. That's really about it.
