Literally the saddest Mod ever

so uh this mod is probably the saddest one I've played thus far because this is one of the rare cases where the mod doesn't have a good ending. Hell the mod is called "Bad Ending" for a reason, but this just hits so damn hard. And what's even weirder about it is that this mod feels more canon compared to the regular one since Doki Doki Literature Club ended with most of the characters dying. So yeah imma just explain why this mod is fucking depressing to me anyway.

The Story

So the mod takes place in an alternate timeline where Monika fails to return after Yuri's week in Doki Doki Takeover. Due to this the game malfunctions and slowly dies out as Boyfriend raps against the Literature Club (except the Protagonist) while they're all dying. The mod ends with Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Monika, Sayori, and Natsuki dead as the game is deleted with Monika blaming herself for this and stuck inside the Dating Simulator with Senpai forever. so yeah unfortunately, Monika couldn't make it back in time causing everyone to die even the people who weren't in Doki Doki Literature Club and has to live with that for God knows how long.

The Characters

so yeah unfortunately all of the characters except Monika die which obviously references how they all die in the Original Game, however Boyfriend and Girlfriend also die just being at the worst place at the worst time. And what makes it worse is that Boyfriend was the last one to die which means he saw each of them die including Girlfriend one by one.

Conclusion
