Just wondering if anyone has any tips for growing and caring for Basil. Mine seems to be going strong, but I just want to be safe. (I'll try and get a photo.)

*Give it morning sun and shade in the evening
*Keep Oil evenly moist
* Bring it inside when temperature drops under 40°F
* Don't over fertilize since it'll take away the flavor
* Prune it when it starts producing flower buds as that'll make the leaves smaller and eventually the plant will start dying
mine seems strong too, I've got mine at walmart last month and I bottom water it to keep leaves dry. it seems to be doing better than it was on the shelf. but for mine I have it on my east facing window. it seems to be doing good besides a fee leaves rotting away, but I think that's natural.
