Optical never stops to amaze us... Every level he s is better than his previous. Grapheme though is something else. 10 times better than his previous level. This level is the sequel of Glyph, another amazing level of course, But this one has a new background / deco mechanism, that makes the background be mirrored / reversed at some parts ( see images and video below ). This effect is very unique, and it is what makes Optical different. Also another amazing touch in this level are the rotating structures in the first ship and ufo part. They are very smooth and have quite good hitboxes. A cool detail i noticed is that Opti combined the generic pinwheels with his grapheme effect, and created a cool looking modernistic pinwheel background at the ball part. The most important detail in Grapheme and other Optical levels, is that even though the level might follow the same style the entire level, the shapes, objects, block design and many other small but important details change in each part, preventing the level from becoming generic. Most creators theese days are generic, or at least close to generic. Optical though is nowhere close to being a generic creator. He is one of the few creators that RobTop actually ires a lot ( Optical, Serponge etc. ) Overall i rate this level : 10/10 for effects, 7/10 for gameplay ( Long ship / ufo flying parts without tight spaces and orbs is not the type of gameplay i like ) and of course, 10/10 creativity.
