"arsenal?", david thought looking again at his new club offer. he couldn't believe this. his heart began to beat stronger and his face was filled with a smile. arsenal?! one of the best teams in the whole england? and he, a normal boy from chicago? yes, that's the fact his last goal was truly stunning but was it world class? david had no idea what to think about it but for sure he knew that his dream just came true.

john was just randomly surfing the internet when suddenly his agent called. john picked up saying "hello?". "john, i have awesome news for you. you have an offer from arsenal! those premier league giants want you!". john for a few seconds couldn't say a word. he tried to understand what just happened - a normal boy from poor family, who made his debut in last year's school tournament is supposed to move to arsenal..?

"john, can you hear me?", his assistant asked after a moment of silence. "ye.. yes." "congratulations john! you're moving to arsenal in three months!". this is how john's life turned into a dream. arsenal was the team that john has been dreaming of since forever. and now he had this amazing opportunity. he knew that he can't waste it now.

it was august. the season just started and the new players were arriving. john knew that his dream just came true and that the new debiut is about to come. during his way to the airport in chicago, he was taking a look at the last views of his family city. he knew that he won't see it for a long time. he felt a small dose of sadness in his heart now, however he was more excited about the new opportunity rising. once he arrived at the airport and ordered his ticket, he suddenly got a lot confused. the airport in chicago was huge, it was difficult to get anywhere because of the huge crowds.

he suddenly saw a young man in his age. he decided to ask him how he can get to his plane. "excuse me, do you know where i can find the way to the plane which goes to london in an hour? the number of it is 54b. i got lost a little". the man turned and replied "yes, i'm actually flying by the same plane. follow me. i'm david, by the way". "i'm john". they gave themselves a handshake and john followed david. they began to talk and took the seats next to each other in the plane. john was happy because he managed to get to know a new person that he's going to play with.

after ten hours, they arrived in london. they both had never been there - the view of the city totally different from chicago, caused them a big shock. but they liked it. david and john divided at the airport. they had only an hour to get to their apartments and get to the training centre to meet with the coach.

david was used to living in luxury apartments. he lived in one since he was born. his parents have always been proud of him - even when he got kicked out from school because he failed 3 subjects. that's when he began to love football even more and decided to do it profesionally. all childhood memories had been coming over his head on his way to his new home. "here it is", the driver said. david took a look at his new home. it was a huge white building and the apartment inside was designed in modern style. david came on his balcony and sighed. he had 30 more minutes to relax before the first meeting with the new coach.

john decided to buy a small flat near the training centre. he wanted to be close to the centre so he could go there on foot. he wasn't used to living in luxury apartments that's why the small flat for one person was enough for him. john felt a little nervous - he didn't know what to expect. it was his first time playing in such legendary team and the fact that he didn't have family near him affected on him a lot. his parents and his brother were always the people that he could count on.

david arrived to the training first. the training centre was huge and much more modern than the one in chicago. he was going through the rooms and corridors but couldn't find the locker room. "did you get lost?", he suddenly heard a man's voice behind him. "yes, i can't find the locker room. i'm new here, my name is david", he replied and looked at him. "i'm aubameyang. follow me", he said. david did so. he already knew who he is - he was a legend overall.

john arrived a few minutes later and managed to find the way himself. david was already there. they both made some friends with the new players and enjoyed themselves. the atmosphere in the locker room was warm and very friendly. john and david in one moment realized they just became friends with their biggest idols. a moment after, they went to the training pitch. it was really big and looked promising. the coach introduced john and david to the rest of the squad. they both were very well welcomed. "we expect a lot from you", he said "we will see how you're doing today and check your skills".

once the training began, john at first didn't do well - however the pressure made him impress the coach. david also did great job. they both made a great impression. after the session, the coach said that they had done great job and that they might take part in the match against chelsea next week. david and john were super happy about that. john just realized that his dream just came true.

the preparations for the match against chelsea required a lot of hard work. both john and david were training intensively. it turned out that david was put into starting eleven - he was really happy about that. however, it was something normal for david. he was a star in chicago. john was put into substitutes. he was still happy about that. he knew that he just started training, he didn't expect to be in the squad.

the match began with david's assist to aubameyang and first goal. however, after 15 minutes chelsea also scored. however, after a few minutes after the blues goal ozil was seriously injured. it turned out he couldn't play. "warm up john. you're coming to the pitch", the coach said to him. john could not believe in what he had heard. yes, he was sorry for ozil because he had big problems with his foot but he was also really happy that he could contribute to the match.

at first, he didn't do that well - he didn't properly, he misunderstood aubemyang's intention and lost the ball. however, after some motivation in the half-time, he did a lot better. it was 85th minute of the match. suddenly everything happened very quickly. he got a from david, ed it to aubemyang and started to run to the penalty spot. he got a from lucas torreira and put the ball into the net.

he had no idea what was going on. he only saw an angry goalkeeper kicking the ball into tribunes. the fans were screaming and the players had run to him and hugged him. the joy began to overcome him. the fans were screaming his name. it was definitely one of the best moments of his entire life.

after the match, he got another ovation from fans and congratulations from the players and the coach. "you did amazing today david", he said "you're the new arsenal hero. i am looking forward for your next successes.". john in one moment realized that the biggest ever dream of his life just came true.
