Hello, Gorillaz Amino! Oliver here! This is extremely important so be sure you read this post in full! There is a new group of hackers! I found this out from Tokyo Ghoul amino! Someone under the name “Worder” is going around well known communities such as Anime Amino and Dragon Ball Amino just to name a couple and deleting sticker packs and leaving nothing else behind! These are frames being deleted completely. Communities are being held at ransom in of being promised a spare for a couple of folders dedicated to these hackers. However, this did not go as planned and packs have been deleted with no telling if they will ever be recovered!

Great you asked! We have been locked anyways due to the influx of bots and spam, only letting certain people in. Team Amino does not work weekends and is not showing any sign of helping. So, in the meantime, we will not be allowing ANY NEW INTO THE COMMUNITY until TEAM AMINO HANDLES THIS. Sticker packs are a huge part of a community’s culture. We’re not risking the loss of these as well as any other risks these hackers may pose! I don’t know what they’re capable of! So PLEASE! If you have any sensitive information on Amino, consider backing it up with another platform or removing it all together! Refrain from the use of the app if it feels more comfortable in the meantime!
