Howdy y’all! Journal here~

And it’s that time once again where the gazette is looking to recruit some new ! We’ve sadly lost a few lately due either to school, family, personal reasons, or otherwise.

We are sad that we’ve lost so many , and they truly will be missed as part of the gazette team. However, he must look forward to embrace new with their individual skills, interests, and personalities :)

Cosplay Agent?

Now what are all these rolls you ask? Well here are some brief descriptions that may aid you, and you can also check them out here at the wiki for the Gazette!

English Teacher

This person’s job will be to scroll through the writings posts, such as fanfictions, writing prompts, poems, theories, or blogs. They will choose about 2-3 that show the most creativity, uniqueness, grammar and spelling, message/moral, and most impressive use of the English language. They will look for works that clearly took a long time to write, edit, and format, and had constructive and well executed plots and character development, or strong points and convincing evidence it were a big or a theory.

Cosplay Agent

This person will basically look at Amino as a runway, looking at all of y’all’s fabulous cosplay! They will look for 2-3 cosplay photos or cosplay groups that showed superior style, effort in their costumes, well done DIY costumes, and well representation and likeliness of which ever character(s) they are cosplaying!

Social Explorer

This person will be responsible for looking through the most interesting and creative quizzes and polls. They will look for 1-2 quizzes/polls that are lengthy, well thought out, well constructed, unique and original, and decently challenging. The polls they will look for must be of decent quality, have actual intent behind them (meaning they actually plan to do something with said poll), and must be well explained and/or understandable in regards to the purpose behind them. (For example, a poll series about who is the best character, a poll about people’s opinions on this community, etc.) Polls such as “who is your favorite character” or “which character should I draw/cosplay” will not be featured in the gazette.

News Anchor

This person will be responsible for watching the news feed from the leadership team, as well as challenges or important announcements from squads/clubs. They will watch it for any new challenges, important announcements, PSAs, and any other important developments that the leadership team or community have made.

Interviewers

Their job is to go around to certain of the community with a list of people that I will give you. These will range from experienced and beginner artists, new and old , writers, cosplayers, and all different of all different kinds! I will have a pre-made list of questions for them to ask, and they are to also sure they give at least some decent length answers, preferably about 2-3 full sentences of reply.

Who all can apply?

There are and conditions for applicants, each of which that is listed is a requirement to be a reporter for this newsletter:

1. Must be level 10 or higher

2. Must be active in this community

3. Must have decent watch over the featured and latest feeds

4. Must be able to pull your own weight

5. Must have been in this community for MORE THAN a month

6. Must be responsible, diligent, and good at time management to turn your stuff in on time

7. Must be good with people and social interaction (its the internet but you’re still being social)

8. Must be able to work well with a team

9. Must not have any strikes

10. Must be good about handling critiques and constructive criticism

11. Must not already be a member of the gazette

There is a level of self examination in this application, but I believe that is important to really ask yourself if you are qualified for this occupation. Curators and leaders may also apply should they choose to, just putting that out there since some friends of mine who are curators were thinking about applying. If you fail to meet these requirements, then your application will not be accepted. I will also personally view each applicants profiles to see what type of content they post and also to learn a bit more about a potential team mate ;3

You CAN apply here even if you’ve already applied before

There will be three strikes issued for every time you break a major rule. If you is a due date without giving me any explanation, you will receive one strike. If I have to warn you more than once about following the rules, you will receive a strike. I have the right and authority to remove you from your place as a reporter and from this chat if I feel the need to, but I don’t want to do that if I don’t have to. This is meant to be a fun, exciting team where we can all come together to make something cool, entertaining, and FABULOOOUUSS!!

Results will be shown in the next gazette! I am so excited to see all the applications, and to see who all will be a part of this awesome new addition to the community! I feel it will help involve a few more people, and should hopefully keep everyone up to date on things for all interests!
