You may have heard of minimalism when it comes to interior design. Warm minimalism is a subtype of minimalism, but with focuses:

» color pallets that are warmer and earthy

» Textures (Leather, woods, bricks, etc)

In a sense, it is very similar to Bohemian Minimalism, without the pops of bright colors that the bohemian style is known for. It is also very similar to Scandinavian style, but less spotlight on gray tones.

One thing to note about most warm minimalist rooms is that the walls are often white. White “evokes a sense of cleanliness and style...we associate the color white with expensive things...” -www.home-deg.com

Lets analyze the photo above. You’ll notice for textures the use of leather & wood. The main color palette are whites and browns. Instead of a simple square rug, they opted for animal hide.
