Ever wonder what happened to Grace and Simon?

I find it hilarious that that I said "hopefully we'll see more of them in book 3" and there pretty much have the mane roles in this season

Yeah. Also, I picked up on something when I rewatched the series. Notice the lines on their faces? They don't look like typical tribal facepaints, they look more like the lines on the conductor robot amelia made. When amelia sent a command the the steward, the lined waved. That line wave looks like the face paints. What if Grace is controlling the rest of the Apex, like Amelia did with the steward? And, when she does the finger wave thing, it kinda follows the pattern of the face lines. Just a thought
