Heya! Yumi-Geisha is here!

So, this #JAIceBreakerChallenge is quite interesting, and since I am a Japanese culture enthusiast, this is a fun challenge to do.

1. What got you interested in Japan and Japanese culture?

At first, I am interested in Japan because of anime and Vocaloid.

However, in 2012, when I watched a French Cartoon entitled "Code Lyoko", which was mostly influenced by Japanese culture, I started liking the Japanese traditional culture, like Samurai and Geisha,

even the series modificated the outfits a lot.

Well, the name of the geisha character is Yumi,

And the name of the samurai is Ulrich.

, not only anime, there are some cartoons which were influenced by Japanese culture, even some cartoons have anime style (Avatar, Original Teen titans, etc), although it weren't made in Japan!

2. Where do you want to go in Japan?

Tokyo and Kyoto ^^

3. What do you like most about Japan/Japanese culture?

Anime, J-Pop and Vocaloid.

But, currently I am interested in Geisha world, also samurai, ninja, and some Japanese mythology!

I also really like the view of cherry blossoms/sakura.

4. If you could bring ANYTHING from Japan back to the place you live in, what would it be?

Mostly some anime stuff, or books about Japanese culture!

5. Are you able to speak some Japanese? If so, type some words you know and teach the community! If not, are you considering learning?

My Japanese language level is intermediate. I know some basic words like "ohayou", "sayounara", "konnichiwa", etc. I tend to use some Japanese . However, I am still weak in kanji.

6. What is your favorite Japanese food?

Probably Chicken katsu.

7. If you woke up in Japan the next morning, what would be the first thing you do?

I thought to myself, "finally my dream has come true!"

8. If you could change something about Japan, what would it be?

Well, their POV about anime lovers, or otakus. Anime lovers aren't even trash!
