Appreciating Kento Nakajima

Hello and Welcome!

Long time no see, been almost a month since I last blogged so I apologize for being in such a terrible slump. However, as you can see by the title I want to appreciate a Japanese actor who means the absolute world to me.

Some of you may recognize Kento Nakajima but if not, don't worry I got you covered with the basics which is perfect timing because today is his birthday.

Kento Nakajima born on March 13, 1994 in Tokyo, Japan is an actor and singer.

After auditioning for Johnny & Associates in 2008, Kento Nakajima was part of a junior group called B.I.Shadow as a singer with current bandmate Fuma Kikuchi.

Later that year, Kento made his acting debut with fellow bandmate in the Japanese drama called "Scrap Tearcher".

In 2011, B.I.Shadow officially disband. Kento soon debuted in the Japanese boy band Sexy Zone as the leader on November 16th.

In 2013, he became known as an actor for his role as Tsukasa Kiriki in the drama "Bad Boys J" followed by the film "Bad Boys J The Movie".

I think amongst us international fans,

Kento Nakajima is mainly known for

his role as Haruto Kurosaki from the

drama and movie "The Black Devil and

the White Prince". For me personally it

was the first role I've seen from Kento

and I instantly fell in love not just with

him as a person but his character as

well (making this an easy favorite for

me). I kid you not that I watch this

movie at least once every year because

I still giggle and obsess over the story

like I did after watching it the first

time. Yes, it is your typical high school

related movie with the male lead who

is as mean as a "devil" and the female

lead who is not very confident around

others but I live for this kind of stuff

so I'm unbrothered by all the second

hand embarrassment and clichés.

Kento really delivered with such acting

(not to mention his beauty was a bonus)

and having Nana and Yudai Chiba by

his side was the cherry on top.

There are so many reasons why I like

Kento Nakajima that I could go and on

for days but for the purpose of this blog

I'll try to keep it short. Anyway, I think

the main reason I'm attracted to Kento

is because he is extremely radiant while

doing practically anything and everything.

He glows with such confidence just by

completely being himself while doing

the activities he loves and nothing can

be more attractive than that. I could

never see this man doing any other

career in this world besides singing and

acting because it suits him well. I was

introduced to him through his acting

and he is great when comes to over

exaggerating while in a comedic role,

never once was there a dull moment.

This later lead me to the J-pop group

he is part of, now I wouldn't say I'm a

hardcore fan of Sexy Zone but there are

a few songs that have stuck with me

over the years which I want to share:

Sexy Zone (yes Sexy Zone has a song

called Sexy Zone don't ask why), Peach,

Honey Honey, & Make My Day. I would like

to say that Kento is an overall well round

gentleman oozing with so much talent

on and off stage like who wouldn't

fall in love with him?
