Manner of Death (Thai BL) (airing)

Dr. Bunnakit is a medical examiner based

at a provincial hospital. During an autopsy,

his suspicions lead to one suspect, a man

named Tan, who denies any involvement.

Tan convinces Dr. Bunnakit to team up

in order to find the real murderer. ☆

Ok, this is soo extremely different

from any BL. No college make-outs

or what. MaxTul are matured and smexy.

The suspense every week is killing me

and I so desperately want to know the

truth!! Omgawd! I just wish each ep

was longer and I want more eps but I

also want the truth! Argh! Love it!!!

Saifahzon Story (Thai BL)

This flashes back to after Saifah and

Zon's performance and before their

beach resort rendevous. It focuses on

how Zon learns that what is happening

between them is true and not fictitious.

My Rating: 2/10

I was looking forward to this so much

and it was bleurgh beyond anything.

I'm friggin' pissed. Stupid piece of

sh*t. Gave it a 2 coz Saifah is still sort

of cute but gosh. Zon is like a middle

aged man being whiny. Yikes. Fed up.

Cherry Magic (Jap BL)

Adachi Kiyoshi turns 30 and has never

fallen in love, so he is still a virgin. As

such, he gains a magical power of read

other people's minds by touching them.

Initially overwhelmed by his new ability,

he realises the advantages when he

accidentally touches Kurosawa Yuichi,

a perfect senior at work whom he learns

has romantic feelings for him. ☆

You know it's a good drama when they

touch on real topics such as the fear of

being gay and the fear of being rejected.

Adachi, on one hand, though having the

"powers" was still apprehensive about

liking Kurosawa back. He knew that having

a female like him would have been much

more "convenient", but neither could he

ignore those feelings he began to have.

Kurosawa, on the other hand, although

seemingly perfect in everyone's eyes,

was so fearful that Adachi would reject

him, so he was contented just being

there whenever Adachi needed help.

Wish You (Korean BL) (airing)

Kang In Soo’s life revolves completely

around music and he hopes to turn his

love of music into a full-time career. A

keyboardist working at a major record

company, Yoon Sang Yi, is always on the

lookout for new talent. As both of them

live in the company residence together,

their friendship slowly blossoms beyond.

My Rating: 6/10

Hane likes this but it's not grabbing

my attention. The last ep showed me

abs at the very last minute. I may start

being invested in it soon. I dunno...

Craving you (Taiwanese BL)

A pastry chef and an internet celebrity

singer work together on a wedding project.

However, the project involves the singer's

ex-boyfriend. This series focuses on how

both the chef and singer overcome their

past hurts amd fall for each other. ☆

My Rating: 5/10

The chef's secretary was the only lady

worth the watch. The romance wasn't even

present till the last 3 minutes of the show

and some were raving about the romantic

kiss at the end of the series but it was like

a lion trying to devour its prey. *shudder*

Why Love Why (Filipino BL)

Benjo and Emil were assigned to be

thesis partners by their professor.

Emil, being not financially capable to

do online research, reluctantly agreed

to stay in Benjo's affluent penthouse

unit. When the condominium building

was locked down for a month, the way

for their relationship is paved too. ☆

I thought, "Why is YouTube allowing soft

porn?" It escalated before I could blink

my eyes and it's 1000 times worse than

Friendzone and YYY put together. Sheesh.

Life Senjou no Bokura (Jap BL)

The ever serious Ito and the child-like

Nishi meet by chance as they walk on

the sidewalk's white line. As time goes

by, Ito is drawn to Nishi. The sparks

between them blossoms through high

-school and into adulthood. However, as

the world of changing realities take place

their love faces challenges too. ☆

My Rating: 4/10

I was initially annoyed by the fact that

Ito wasted Nishi's youth just like that. He

pursued Nishi and even "pressured" Nishi

to be intimate with him and yet he just

dumped Nishi within 2 seconds after the

years invested in their relationship. Later,

I realised that Ito had to deal with societal

pressures, but still... No excuses for being

an idiot right there. Sad to say, Nishi got

a lil' on my nerves too for being childish

(and not child-like)... All in all, to be honest,

I am not for this relationship. Not one bit.

Forget You, Love (Cdrama)

Shan Junhao is the steel-hearted CEO

of Senwell. When Junhao gets into an

accident and wakes up with no memorie

of the past, Ye Qianyu takes him in and

gives him a fake identity. They grow

closer through their time together even

though she knows that he is bound to

leave when he recovers his memories. ☆

My Rating: 7/10

I'm a huge sucker for CEO romances

and this even has good ol' amnesia thrown

into the mix. The difference is that he

re the good feelings of love

instead of the oh-my-head-hurts-and

-I'm-gonna-dump-you-now kind of crap.

My Husband's Lover (Filipino series + BL)

When Vincent got his girlfriend, Lally,

pregnant while they were still in college,

they decided to get married even though

they were not ready for the responsibility.

However, Vincent holds a secret he has kept

for years from his homophobic parents. ☆

My Rating: 4/10

This came recommended by someone

here on KDA and gosh it was soooooo

draggyyyy. It spanned over a shitload

of years and the lover became the wife's

bestie and after the kids grew up, the

husband was finally released back into

the arms of the lover. Omgosh, it was

just... I dunno what to say. I think you

can just watch the first 5 eps and the

last 3 eps and you'll get the full picture.

You won't miss a thing. Trust me on that.

Mr. Honesty (Cdrama)

Xu Yi Ren is the assistant to Fang Zhi

You, the CEO of an architecture firm.

He hates it when others around him lie.

Over time, he gives Yi Ren leeway for her

white lies instead and falls for her. ☆

My Rating: 8/10

Another CEO romance! And this CEO is

eye candy! I lioke it very much! The leads'

chemistry was cute and the romance was

highly likeable too. The only shitty thing

is that there's that disgruntled childhood

lady friend who has loved Mr. CEO for his

whole life. But oh well, I liokee very much!

Be With You (Cdrama)

A young cartoonist intentionally gets

to know Ji Yan Xin, a cold and arrogant

professor in hopes of using him as a proto

-type to her comic character. Over time,

her bubbly character melts his cold exterior

and he falls for her instead. ☆

My Rating: 8/10

It's a cartoonist AND a prof! Of coz!

I love clichéd plots like these! He's cold

too? Even better. These two were kind

of cute together, even thought the prof

wasn't that much of an eye candy, it

still worked somehow. It's a fun watch!

Project S: Side By Side (Thai series)

Gym and Dong are brothers/cousins

who make up a pair of bton doubles.

Both of them grew up together and have

been training since young. Gym is a teen

with Autism and is often bullied by peers.

Gym plays better than Dong, but is hot

-headed due to his rigidity. To make things

worse, their coach, Dong's mum, often cares

more for Gym. Dong is disgruntled with the

unfair treatment and uncovers a secret which

changes his mindset about playing with Gym.

Project S: Spike (Thai series)

The Theppanya High School volleyball

team is working towards the championships.

However, their ace, Singha, transfers to a

rival school instead. This short series

focuses on how the team overcomes

their problems to work towards their

common goal; to win the championship.

My Rating: 6/10

Watched this after Side By Side so

was expecting the same emotional ride

but nope, didn't get it. I know I shouldn't

compare but this was just alright for me.

I guess... Angsty boys playing volleyball

perhaps isn't much of my thing?

Project S: Shoot! I Love You! (Thai series)

Bo has no experience with archery, but

in order to be close to her crush, Archwin,

she drags her friend Shan along to learn

the sport. They later meet Archwin's girl

-friend, Frame. ist this new friendship

circle, feelings also begin to surface. ☆

My Rating: 6½/10

This was still alright too. I found the

FL, Bo, over-acting 95% of the time

and got kind of annoyed. I did feel a

lil' upset for her that she was taken

for a ride, that should never happen

to anyone. By the time this segment

of the Project S series ended, I was

about to give up on watching the final

segment, 'Project S: S.O.S.'. Argh

I Will Find You A Better Home (Cdrama)

Fang Si Jin is a rising star at her real

estate company headquarters. She is

transferred to the Jinyi branch, which

suffers from declining sales. Si Jin s

the store as a double-manager with Xu

Wen Chang, a kind and benevolent man.

In a twist of fate, they end up being

housemates and she learns to change

her mindset when helping clients find

a new home, and not a house. As Si Jin

grows closer to Wen Chang, they both

gain something unexpected - the sense

of home they've long yearned for. ☆

My Rating: 8½/10

This show consisted of a cast of older

characters and it was a nice change of

plotline. Things took a more matured

stance and it showed the reality of the

working class in China. It's enjoyable

and realistic but has 53 eps, so enjoy!

Project S: S.O.S. (Thai series)

Boo is a teen suffering from depression.

He meets a group of proskaters and finds

joy in learning to skateboard. However, he

continues to grapple with depression but

begins to heal with the help of his Dad,

P'Bell and P'Simon, the leader of the pro

-skaters group, whom he idolises.

My Rating: 9/10

Thank goodness I didn't give up on

watching this installation of the whole

Project S series. That ML is sooo friggin'

good, gosh, I was at the edge of my seat

at every single bout of depression he

went through. His acting was one level

up above the rest of the cast. Perfect!

Love is deep (Cdrama)

Weijin is a breast oncology surgeon

whom Ding Ding sees for a malignant

breast lump. As it turns out, they've

met as kids before and Weijin has fallen

for her since. As fate would have it,

Ding Ding collaborates and opens her own

store in a cafe run by Weijin's sister.

My Rating: 8/10

You know me, I like these type of clichéd

Cdramas. I cannot help it. Haha... I found

this a fun watch as Weijin's a newbie in

chasing a girl, but he did quite well, I must

say. Imagine dating your patient... and

imagine your boyfriend looking at boobies

daily. Ahhhh hahahaaa... I don't mean it

that way, but I definitely just found the

whole show an enjoyable must-watch!

Meet Me Outside (Filipino BL Web Series)

Two young men, alone for the holidays

for different reasons, gravitate towards

each other on the day before Christmas

after a conversation on the Blued app. ☆

Each ep is tooo short! I want more.

An easy and fun watch that takes

up only so little time to complete!

Your Name Engraved Herein (Taiwanese movie)

In 1987, as Taiwan is liberated from

martial law, Jiahan, a shy boy, meets

an outgoing, fearless boy, Birdy.

Enjoying their adventures together,

they share many secrets and develop

a relationship beyond their brotherhood.

However, as the school starts recruiting

girls, Birdy tries to distract himself by

dating a girl, breaking Jiahan's heart. ☆

My Rating: 9½/10

I'm not even slating this as a BL movie

coz it isn't. It's more like 2 teenage boys

attempting to find their true selves and

exploring their sexuality as well. A true

masterpiece. There are explicit scenes

though, so I'm recommending you to be

of age before you watch it. Although I

know some of the younger ones here

have already watched it before me.
