Hello, KDA!

How are you? I hope you're doing well. I've

been doing well. It's been quite a long time

since the last time I've posted. I apologize

for that. I have blogs in my drafts but haven't

worked on them. I mostly work on my Wrap

Ups/Drama Diaries. They just take a while to

write so I guess I wanted to take a break.

During that time I ended up dropping my

phone and the screen of the phone broke.

Anyway, as you can see from the title of this

blog I'll be sharing my top five Korean

dramas with slow burn romances. This

blog is for #MaseumCrew. Please know

that this blog will include spoilers. Now

that that's out of the way, let's go ahead

and get into it.

1. A Business Proposal

[BC]Hello, KDA!

[C]How are you? I hope you're doing well. I've
[C]been doing well. It's

The first drama I'll be discuthg is 'A

Business Proposal.' I watched this drama

as it was airing and I enjoyed it so much.

The drama tells the story of Shin Ha Ri who

steps in for her friend and pretends to be her

on a blind date set up by her parents.

However, soon after she finds out the man

is actually her CEO where she works. One

day, he makes a proposal to her. The drama

stars Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Se Jung.

I love dramas that have fake marriage/dating

and then the relationship becomes real with

real feelings. In the beginning, their

relationship is just business and then later

on both characters start to develop feelings

for each other and their relationship starts

to develop romantically and it's a slow burn

which I love. In episode 7 towards the end

of the drama, they finally share their first

kiss. Along with the slow burn of the drama,

the two actors had amazing chemistry and

it made the drama much more interesting

and entertaining. If you haven't watched it

yet, you definitely should. It's really good.

2. Heartbeat

[BC]Hello, KDA!

[C]How are you? I hope you're doing well. I've
[C]been doing well. It's

As I've mentioned, I watch my dramas on

an app called K-Drama Vol. 2. At the time,

this app had a wide variety of dramas and

movies. It was on this app where I

discovered a drama called 'Heartbeat.' The

story of this drama is about Son Woo Hyeol

who's half-vampire and half-human. He

desperately wants to become fully human.

Every 100 years he has the chance to

become human but he missed it. He's told

that if he drinks the blood of a human, he

will get his wish of becoming fully human.

Woo Hyeol meets a young woman named

Joo In Hae who he decides he's going to

drink her blood to become human.

[C]How are you? I hope you're doing well. I've
[C]been doing well. It's

In many dramas, the main lead characters

tend to start liking each other around

episode 5-6. It's usual the same in each

drama. But particularly in 'Heartbeat,' they

didn't start to like each other until around

episode 13 which was new and it was really

nice to see. I started to ship these two in

beginning of the drama around episode 3. I

was waiting until a few episodes later to

see if they'll get together and it never

happened. I continued to watch the drama

and see when exactly they'll get together. I

knew from that point, it would be a slow

burn which I didn't mind because I love slow

burns even though it's torturous waiting to

see two characters get together. I prefer it

this way because you get a lot more

development towards the relationship

rather than waiting until episode 5-6 for

the main leads to get together.

3. The Judge from Hell

[BC]Hello, KDA!

[C]How are you? I hope you're doing well. I've
[C]been doing well. It's

'The Judge from Hell' is a drama from 2024.

I didn't watch this drama as it was airing. I

didn't start watching the drama until a

couple of months after the drama ended.

This drama tells the story of a demon who

inhabits the body of a criminal judge named

Kang Bit Na. She has a mission which is to

kill ten sinners and send them to Hell and

only then will she return to Hell. The drama

stars my favorite actress Park Shin Hye as

well as Kim Jae Young whom I recognized

from watching 'Love in Contract' a few

years ago.

[BC]Hello, KDA!

[C]How are you? I hope you're doing well. I've
[C]been doing well. It's

In 'The Judge from Hell,' it was definitely a

slow burn. The drama consists of 14

episodes. The main characters are Kang Bit

Na, a criminal judge, and Han Da On, a

police officer. They become acquainted and

sort of become enemies. Soon after

meeting, a string of murders begin to occur

surrounding Kang Bit Na. Han Da On begins

to suspect that Kang Bit Na is the one

responsible behind the murders and notices

that the murders are people from the cases

she handled. At first they sort of frenemies

I guess you can say. When Han Da On

confirms that Bit Na is the one in fact

committing the murders, he will not let her

go. It's not until around episode 12 that

these two start to have a closer and more

friendly relationship. Around episode 13

their relationship becomes even more close

and starts to become romantic which I

loved. I started to ship Bit Na and Da On

from their first encounter alone.

There were a few more dramas I wanted to

add but some of the dramas I couldn't

a lot of because it was a while

back when I watched them. At first I wanted

this blog to contain at least five dramas but

I was running low on time because I had to

post and I totally forgot that I was supposed

to post and couldn't work on the blog

because my other phone broke until now. If

there are other dramas I didn't include that

you can think of, feel free to list them in the

comments down below. I hope you enjoyed

reading and I'll see you in my next blog.

I watched Heartbeat on Amazon prime and it got me through the headache and anxiety at work (no longer there thankfully) I looked forward to new episodes every week and watched on my break at work. It was so helpful!

Thank you for reading and commenting. I really appreciate it. It doesn't seem like people read my blogs anymore. They just like them without reading them which makes me sad.
