February Wrap Up

Ｈｅｌｌｏ ＫＤＡ!

I'm back again writing another Wrap Up. I thought

it would be better to write a Wrap Up than a Diary

since it was close to the end of the month. I

actually started writing this blog last month and

it was almost finished but then something

happened to my phone where a lot of my drafts

were deleted including this one so I had to start

all over. I hate it when my phone does this. It's so

annoying. It's the second time my phone has done

this. Usually depending on what the blog is, I take

screenshots as I'm writing but I didn't this time. I'd

be a good thing to do for all of my blogs. I had like

eighty-two drafts but only thirty of them were left.

That way I knew what I wrote and I can continue

where I left off. But I do most of what

I wrote so it's not that bad. Anyway, as you can

see from the title, I'm be writing another Wrap

Up where I'll be sharing what I continued

watching and what I started watching last

month.

now faces a crisis, due to misappropriation of

company funds. He decides to take part in the

secret survival game with Seong Gi Hun.

I finally went back to watching this drama. I

stopped watching it for a bit because I was

watching a lot of dramas and I wanted to wait

until I finished a few which I did. Now that I

finished a few, I went back to watching it and it's

still very enjoyable. I've watched episode four

and it was just as insane as the last episode. I

think all of the episodes will be insane. In this

episode, they play Tug-of-War. This is another

game where a majority of the players are

eliminated and die. It's just crazy how many

people die in each game. Although it's very fishy

what the guards are doing behind closed doors

to the players who died. One of the players is a

doctor and would help the guards to remove their

eyes and other organs. When I saw this, I thought

it was so weird that they were harvesting their

organs and wondering what they were really up

to. Why are they taking the eyeballs from the

dead bodies? It's just weird. Maybe it will be

explained in the next couple of episodes or the

last episode. It's just so bizarre what they're

doing. Because the doctor helps them, it looks

like he gets hints of what the next game is so

he can continue to survive and further help

them.

This is another drama I was really enjoying

before I started The King's Affection and

Twenty-Five, Twenty-One. I really liked seeing

Yu Mi's Cells and their reactions to everything

and also helping Yu Mi. All of the Cells are

amazing and so cute. In the episode I've

watched, Yu Mi and Goo Woong broke up. I

didn't really blame Yu Mi for breaking up with

him because she was getting frustrated with the

responses she was getting when she would text

him. They're a cute couple but I felt like their

relationship was always filled with secrets

especially on Goo Woong's side. He doesn't tell

Yu Mi anything until she overhears something or

finds out herself like when she found out that

Sae Yi moved in the same apartment complex

he lived in. Then when she confronts him about

it, he's shocked as to why she's angry when she

has every right to be. It's only the first season

but I hope Yu Mi will find happiness in season

2. Since she broke up with Goo Woong, she

ends up marrying someone else but it's

unknown who it is.

Joseon is in a state of disorder due to

uprisings and a power struggle surrounding King

Lee Hun. To avoid assassination, a clown named

Ha Sun is brought to the palace to take the place

of King Lee Hun. Ha Sun looks almost identical

to King Lee Hun.

When Ha Sun was a child, his parents died

during an epidemic. Ha Sun almost died from

starvation around that time, but he was saved

by a group of clowns. Ha Sun grew up with the

clowns and became one of them. During their

performance, Ha Sun would play King Lee Hun

due to their similar physical appearance. Now,

Ha Sun is nervous that someone in the palace

will find out he is not the real king. He falls for

beautiful Queen Yoo So Woon.

I'm not watching this drama as much as I'm

watching the other historical drama. It's still

really good that I don't want to drop it. I still

want to continue watching it. It's just that I'm

not enjoying it as much as I'm enjoying the

other historical drama The King's Affection. But

I will go back to it soon. I'm interested in finding

out what would happen when the people find out

that the King they all know is not really the King

but someone who looks exactly like him and

took his place. I also wanna know how the

Queen would react when she finds out too. It

would make sense she would fall for the King

because he isn't really the King and he acts

differently and he's nicer than the other King.

I totally didn't expect for the King to be killed

by Minister Lee. I thought once he healed, he

wouldn't return to the palace because of his

addiction to drugs and how he had to keep

being replaced by the Crown King. He would just

be exiled somewhere else or something. I don't

know. I think Minister Lee saw this as a problem

and thought it would be better to eliminate the

real King to keep the Crowned King because he's

a better King than he ever was. When he was the

King, he was cruel to everyone and the people

and didn't help much. I think it was better for

everyone.

Jang Man Wol is the CEO of Hotel del Luna.

The hotel is situated in downtown in Seoul and

has a very old appearance. She made a big error

many years ago and, because of this, she has

been stuck at Hotel del Luna. She is beautiful,

but she is fickle, suspicious and greedy.

Koo Chan Sung worked as the youngest

assistant manager ever at a multinational hotel

corporation. He is a sincere perfectionist. He

looks level-headed, but he actually has a soft

disposition. Due to an unexpected case, he

begins to work as a manager at Hotel del Luna.

The hotel's clientele consists of ghosts.

Yoo Na takes Hyun Joong to the columbarium

where her original body is buried. It was a while

since I went back to watching the drama so I

don't exactly how she died and got a

new body. But if someone re, do let me

know. I would love to know. I thought the body

she was in was her real body. Anyway, in this

episode two characters who I ship a lot got

closer. Yoo Na likes Hyun Joong and puts a

drawing she did of Hyun Joong inside with her

picture. She tells him she likes him but he says

that she should have a boyfriend who's alive.

She kisses him on the cheek and he kisses her

back. I love these two so much. They're so cute

together. I was patiently waiting until they got

together and it was so sweet when they did. I

just hoped they would get more screen time

because side couples never get enough

screen time and it's the most annoying thing

ever. They should both get equal screen time.

The police begin to suspect who the killer is and

they suspect it's Ji Won. Chan Sung already

begins to suspect it's Ji Won due to having the

ability to talk to ghosts and talking to one of the

ghosts and asking if its him and the female

ghosts nods her head. I like how Ji Won blamed

Chan Sung for how his life turned out when it

wasn't Chan Sung's fault but Ji Won's fault. He's

the one who chose not to study and to not follow

in his father's footsteps. It's not really said why Ji

Won started killing but I think it's because he

blamed Chan Sung for how his life turned out so

he turned into a serial killer. Although I was very

disappointed that Ji Won wasn't arrested to face

the consequences of his actions for taking the

lives of so many people. Instead he chose the

coward's way out and killed himself.

The Crown Prince's wife gave birth to twins, but

twins were considered an ominous sign. The twin

later, the twin son Lee Hwi is killed. The Crown

Prince's wife hides her twin son's death and

brings her twin daughter back to the palace and

raises her as Prince Lee Hwi. Lee Hwi eventually

becomes a crown prince, but she is afraid her

real identity will be revealed. Because of her

secret, Lee Hwi is unable to have anyone close

to her. She hides her emotions from others and

she makes biting remarks.

Jung Ji Un is Lee Hwi’s teacher. Jung Ji Un

comes from a noble family. He is handsome,

smart and an optimist who enjoys life. Crown

Prince Lee Hwi develops feeling for Jung

Ji Un.

Besides really enjoying Yumi's Cells, this is

another drama that I'm currently watching

that I'm enjoying very much. It's a drama I always

look forward to watching. I'm watching another

historical drama too called The Crowned Clown

but I'm not watching it as much. It's still a really

good drama and I'm enjoying it but not as much

as this drama. I always love watching a new

episode because I'm always interested in

seeing what's going to happen next and if

anyone suspects what the Crown Prince's

secret is.

One of my favorite parts of watching the drama

is seeing the interactions between the Crown

Prince and Ji Un as well as their relationship. I

ship them so much. I was patiently waiting for

the reveal of Ji Un finding out that the Crown

Prince is actually female. She gets injured as

they're being chased and Ji Un being a physician

tends to her wound. She reveals her secret by

removing her hanbok showing her chest. He's

shocked but doesn't seem to mind and how she

kept the secret from him. But another reveal that

I'm excited to see is when Ji Un finds out that

Lee Hwi is actually his first love Dam Yi. She

wasn't killed but her twin brother. I think be

would be overjoyed and also shocked at the

same time.

I've watched this drama six other times and

each time, I always think episode sixteen is by

far the saddest episode. Just when they start to

have feelings for each other and their relationship

becoming real, they can't be together because

Mike make a promise to Mintra that he would

always take care of her. I always thought this

promise was stupid. Mintra is a grown woman.

She can take care of herself. It seemed to me like

she always wanted attention. I noticed throughout

the drama that she was always the center of

attention especially in episode 6 when she found

out from Guy about Mike's feelings towards her.

Instead of talking to him about it privately, she

asked him in front of the reporters causing a

scene. It's not really said when this promise was

made but I would assume it was when they were

adults. I would understand if it was made during

their middle and high school years but they're

adults now so it doesn't make any sense. The

promise should be broken because Mike is

married. I know it was fake but still.

I felt so bad for Aom-Am when she told Mike

that she wanted a divorce since she already

lost because she developed feelings for him,

and when Mike told her that it's not possible for

them to be together. This is the scene where

my tears always start to flow because it's so sad

and the chemistry between them is so good. It's

very real and natural that you think they're a couple

in real life but they're not. The next scene that

comes is also sad where she's crying in the rain

and she's soaking wet and calls Guy. He comes

to her and she hugs him and she continues to

cry. My tears also flow in this scene as well

because I just feel so bad for her. She got her

house back but still.

I don't exactly when I went back to

watching this drama but I think it was sometime

back in December. Unlike the other dramas I'm

currently watching, this is one that I'm not

watching as much. I was watching it for a while

because it was getting interesting in the middle

but then it started going downhill again. Out of all

of the dramas I'm watching at the moment, it's

my least favorite. It's just not that good. That's

probably why I stopped watching it before and

forgot what it was why I stopped watching. But

I'm very close to being done. I only have two more

episodes. I don't like to drop dramas so I always

try to watch them all the way through. Even though

it's a drama I'm not really enjoying as much, I'm

still interested in watching the rest because I

would like to know how it ends.

One of the main reasons why I'm not enjoying it

very much is the romance. It's pretty cringey

especially the kiss scenes. They're hard to watch.

Not from Ji Hyo's side but from the male lead's

side. When Eul Soon and Philip started developing

feelings for each other and becoming closer, it

was getting interesting and I liked watching it but

when they finally got together, it wasn't as good

and interesting. It started to get kind of boring. I

also never shipped Philip and Eul Soon together.

I actually got second lead syndrome which I was

shocked about because I usually don't get it. I

always shipped the main leads together. But in

this drama, I didn't. I shipped Eul Soon and Sung

Joong instead. They've known each other the

longest and they look a lot cuter together than

Eul Soon and Philip. There's an age difference

between the two characters but I think it's like

six or seven years but instill ship it more.

Although Minami School seems like an ordinary

school, one thing that differentiates the school

is the high ratio of good looking boys that attend

the school. This is intentional as the school

won the contest many times in the past, but,

more recently, has been in a losing streak.

Ryoma Ikeda is a first year student at Minami

School. He possesses an ordinary appearance,

but, miraculously, he was able to attend the

school. He is surrounded by students who are

visually stunning and his school life is not so

happy because of this. Nevertheless, Ryoma

Ikeda decides to become a contestant for the

school at the national high school ikemen

contest, focusing on his personality and his

creativity.

Meanwhile, Kanna Sakurai is a pretty female

student at Minami School. She isn't interested

in good looking guys and takes an interest in

Ryoma Ikeda.

I found this drama on the homepage of Drama

Cool. I saw the name of the drama and also the

poster and it looked really interesting and it was

a school drama. It was also a drama that had to

do with flower boys and I love those kind of

dramas. They're really enjoyable to watch. It's

also a school drama so that's another reason

for wanting to watch it. I love school dramas

especially for Japanese dramas. I read the plot

and I found it really interesting. When I watched

the first episode, it reminded me a lot of one of

my top favorite Japanese dramas other than

Perfect Girl Evolution, Hana Kimi, because all

of the female students love the male students

and always take their pictures, and they're very

popular. Another reason is because the

Dean is female just like Hana Kimi.

Shin Ha Ri is a single woman and works for a

family. Jin Young Seo then asks Shin Ha Ri to

take her place in a blind date and even offers

some money for her time. Shin Ha Ri accepts

her friend's offer. She goes out on the blind

date as Jin Young Seo, while having the

intention to get rejected by her date. When

she sees her blind date, Shin Ha Ri is dumb-

founded. Her blind date is Kang Tae Mu. He is

the CEO of the company where she works.

Kang Tae Mu is the CEO of a company that his

grandfather founded. One day, his grandfather

informed him of an blind date that

he set up for him. Kang Tae Mu is a workaholic

and he is annoyed that his grandfather sets up

blind dates for him. He decides to marry the

next woman whom he meets at a blind date,

so he won't be disturbed from his work

anymore. That woman is Shin Ha Ri, but pre-

tending to be Jin Young Seo.

On the following day, Shin Ha Ri receives a

phone call from Kang Tae Mu. He asks her to

marry him.

Started Watching on February 28

I found out about this drama when I was on

Soompi. I saw an article on the drama and clicked

on it and read what it was about. When I read the

plot, I was really interested in watching the drama.

I liked that it was about the main female lead

standing in her friend's place while on a blind

date and then her date calling her saying he wants

to get married. I also liked that because Tae Mu's

grandfather is always setting him up on dates, he

wants to marry Ha Ri so his grandfather will stop.

I just love fake relationships so much because

most of the time it becomes real. It's one of my

favorite tropes when it comes to romance. I feel

like it always works well. I have a feeling that the

two characters will start to develop real feelings

for each other and instead of their relationship

being fake, it will become more real as time

goes on.

I've only watched two episodes so far since

that's how many came out when I watched it and

I'm really enjoying it so far. The first two episodes

were really good and I'm always sad when it

reaches the end of the episode because it's so

good I wanted to see more. It's the second drama

I'm really enjoying and always looking forward to

watch every week. At first I thought new episodes

came out on Saturday and Sunday because that's

when I watched the episodes but then I looked

up the drama and found that new episodes came

out every Monday and Tuesday which I was happy

to hear about because I won't have to wait that

long. New episodes will be out at the beginning

of the week. So I don't have to wait that long. I

can't wait to watch more episodes and to see

Young Seo and Sung Hoon and Ha Ri and Tae

Mu.

Started Watching on February 15

I found out about this drama while I was doing

research for topics to write about for my first

blog for a group called MaseumCrew. I stumbled

upon Soompi which I haven't read in a long time

and I saw the title of this drama and looked it

up and I saw that one of my favorite actresses

Park Min Young was in it so I was very interested

in watching it and seeing what it's about. I

always enjoy watching any drama that Park Min

Young is in. She always has really good chemistry

with her co-star. The last drama I watched of

hers was Her Private Life where she's the curator

of an art museum but secretly she's a fangirl

and lives the whole lifestyle as a fangirl. I really

enjoyed the drama, not only because it has to

do with art but also because we get to see a

glimpse of the K-Pop world through a fan

girl's lense.

Another reason I was interested in watching

this drama was because it had to do with

weather and forecasting the weather. I've never

seen a drama about it before and it seemed

pretty interesting. The first episode came out

yesterday and the second episode today. I

actually forgot that this drama came out. So after

I watched the Super Bowl and took a break for a

bit, I watched the first episode. I'll be watching

the second episode to further share my thoughts

and opinions while I was watching the drama.

"Twenty-Five, Twenty-One" tells a love story

between Na Hee Do and Back Yi Jin.

Na Hee Do is a member of her high school

fencing team. Due to the South Korean

financial crisis, the high school fencing team

gets disbanded. Getting through all the

difficulties, she becomes a member of the

sabre fencing national team.

The South Korean financial crisis also causes

Baek Yi Jin’s father's business to go bankrupt.

This leads to a life change for Baek Yi Jin, from

living the life of a wealthy person to a poor

person. While studying, he works part-time jobs

like delivery newspapers. Later, he becomes a

sports reporter for a broadcasting network.

Started Watching on February 20

This is another drama I found out about while on

the homepage of DramaCool. I really liked the

poster and how Nam Joo Hyuk was in it. I haven't

seen him in a drama since I watched The Bride

of the Water God. I didn't like his character all that

much but his acting was amazing as always. I was

interested in watching it because of the love story

and how it took place in 1998 and during the IMF

crisis. I also really liked how the female lead was

a fencing champion. I've never seen a drama

where the female lead's profession was in

fencing. I always thought fencing was an

interesting sport and it's one I always wanted

to learn. It looked fun.

I watched two episodes and fell in love with

it right away. I really liked the development with

the friendship between Hee Do and Yi Jin. They

became friends when Hee Do would visit the book

store to borrow her favorite man hwa. The

chemistry between Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae

Ri was really good. It makes the drama so much

more enjoyable to watch especially seeing their

scenes together.

I started watching a lot of good dramas this

month. At the moment, my top favorite ones are

Twenty-Five Twenty-One and A Business Proposal.

Both of these are really good and I'm always

excited to watch new episodes. Since then I've

watched a lot more because when I first started

writing this blog, I lost the draft so I had to start all

over and also because I'm always watching a lot

so it takes me a while to write all of my thoughts

on the dramas. I'm excited to watch more episodes
