Friendship is an essential part of life;

without it, true happiness cannot be

Friends are your chosen family in this

Mister. They’re the ones you’ve given

value to, and a piece of your heart as

True friends   can   make an   ordinary

experience an extraordinary memory

special & significantly different from

Pick a drama with bestest of besties:

I’ve chosen this sismance, because it has my favorite pairing type (introvert-extrovert) as well as withstanding the test of time & overcoming so much in the 13 years they’ve been ing each other.

Soon Hee came from a sheltered home life where no one ever appreciated her because in their eyes she was never enough. (Here’s your upbeat extrovert) When Hye Jung saves her from bullies, & is nice to her, Soon Hee basically pledges fealty to Hye Jung for life 🤗

Hye Jung came from a troubled home with abusive parents who abandoned her, but her grandma never gave up on her. (Here’s your reclusive introvert) She’s used to being beaten down by people so she’s always on guard, so when the happy-go-lucky Soon Hee attaches herself to Hye Jung, she starts to soften up & becomes more sociable :smiley:

Although their relationship got off to a rocky start, Soon Hee’s infectious joy was able to win Hye Jung over to being her new bestie. They became inseparable & did everything together from school, after school activities, & into their current occupations where Hye Jung is a successful Doctor & Soon Hee owns “Sooni Hawaii” tiki bar near the Hospital.

Hye Jung was always a fighter growing up, so it wasn’t rare to see her saving Soon Hee from thieves, thugs, or emergency situations. She wasn’t irritated with Soon Hee when these things happened; was always more concerned about her safety.

In contrast to Hye Jung’s rough persona, Soon Hee was the gentle care bear. She had an innocent naïveté towards the world & always saw/had faith in the best of people. She wasn’t able to beat up folks, but was able to ease worries, & help Hye Jung relax whenever she had a long day.

Navigating the dating scene is always a struggle, so when Hye Jung starts dating Doctor Hong, Soon Hee is always there to get the deets & cheer her on as well as makes sure shes not doing anything unbecoming. Soon Hee is such a hilariously welcome source of influence & motivation throughout the show 🤗

them to be the person that you can

call at 3 in the morning to cry or

The girls went to an abandoned warehouse to work out their beef between Hye Jung & Seo Woo, but they started to fight & an oil can tipped over & caught fire. Hye Jung got the girls out of there safely & then took the blame when the cops claimed it to be arson. She spent a couple days in jail, before Soon Hee came & took the blame instead to get Hye Jung out because her grandma was going into surgery.

:eyes: These 2 literally went to jail for each other!! Now most of us won’t find ourselves in felony situations, but you definitely know which one of your friends will always be there if a crazy situation arises for your max system to be initiated. :fist: 🏼 :sunglasses:

The ease in which these 2 women can talk about everything and anything with each other without the fear of being judged is true friendships ultimate goal :two_hearts: There wasn’t a scene where you couldn’t agree with what these 2 were up to throughout the show. I seriously love them so so much & am grateful I have friends just like this :hearts: :kissing_heart:

I probably didn’t express how amazing

these two are properly, (due to my lack of

conversational flair) but they’re definitely

friendship goals!! You don’t need a whole

hoard of people that tolerate you; just a

small group of people that truly accepts

you & your faults :heart_eyes: Now that’s happy :hearts:

Before I go, I’ll leave you all with this advice

from a great friend and mentor of mine:

Don’t give yourself away to everyone

& anyone; Not everyone deserves to be

a part of your world. Be selective, and

give your energy to only those that are

worthy of your presence. Ask yourself

these questions: Who have you given

value too? Are they enhancing or taking

away your happiness? Life is meant to

be lived with joy & happiness. Seek that

.......& keep only those that ensure it......
