It's your seasonal blogger "Naiya"  . Yes Yeo Jin Goo is my new rave, this Noona's heart can barely contain this smexyness :satisfied: .

Did you ever start a drama and 5-20 mins in you find that you just couldn't connect to it, you tried to continue for at least another 5 mins and then you decide this might not be your cup of tea. But then a time comes when you decide to pick it up again and Shazam.. You're hooked and that night your probably can't sleep because you're busy binge watching it. Today I'm gonna talk about dramas that were like that for me.

I really can't pin point what irked me in the beginning of this drama, but I just myself hissing in the first 3 mins and closing my video player. That party scene in the beginning just gave me weird vibes but after a few weeks I decided to move past my weirdness and just go further a few mins and that was it, no sleep for me that day. I got to see one of the best chemistry between a Kdrama couple and I got the privilege of seeing the beautiful talent that is DO Kyungsoo (Exo D.O) . Now one of my favorites, it would have been a tragedy if I clicked that delete button  .

This one gave off this silly vibe at first plus the over grown high school students just put me off. Now it's a shock to me that I actually thought of not continuing, thinking of what I would have missed out on  . So Ji sub, all that hotness he displayed, his amazing chemistry with Shin Min ah, the bromance, one of the best marriage proposals ever :revolving_hearts: , no nasty rich in-laws. Imagine, One bad quick judgment would have cost me all this.

I think a lot of people had this same phobia, the phobia of seeing Ha Suk Jin play the same annoying male lead :pensive: . If you've read my profile you would know Ha Suk Jin is bae :heart_decoration: , but I just didn't want to see him play another similar role so i put this drama aside. But good thing I picked it up again and at the right time for that matter cause binge watching it just made the experience all the better. Not only did I quickly judge HSJ's character but it would have been so unlucky for me to have missed out on such a good drama. Amazing plot, great actors that make up the cast and my fav type of romance to boot (enemies-to-lovers type of romance  )

Now this is bit special because if I hadn't given this drama a second chance I wouldn't even be here making this blog right now :joy: . Yes I wasn't instantly hooked into dramas, it was weird to me at first. But then I listened to my friend, picked it up again, pushed past the language and in 5-10 mins my life changed. Now Hangul is like music to my ears and I give every other form of entertainment that is not Korean the stink eye.

So there you have it guys, there are definitely more since I have seen over 70 dramas already but my laziness won't allow me go past here for now. Maybe you might get a part Two  . You can also tell me of your second time charm stories in the comments  .

Great blog! I rarely give a 2nd chance to dramas :joy: I usually give each drama I start 4 episodes to impress me. And if I don't like it, I just drop it

Thanks  i'm usually quick to dismiss a drama. But if I'm able to get to 4 episodes chances are I would finish the drama but if it's really bad I might just skip a lot of scenes just to know what happens at the end.

I have never watched eps. 16-20 of BOF! And prolly never will, even though I own the DVD set! I just have a love/hate situation that started from 5 years ago when I first watched until now. It was my 2nd K-drama so there was much I wasn't familiar with in of the genre and Korean culture. Maybe one day...but don't hold your breath!

I don't think I can bring myself to watch BOF now, it was mg first drama so I gave it a chance but even at the time the story was too draggy for me. It really won't appeal to me now.

I totally agree with you for it's okay that's love. I've tried 2 times and I couldn't finish the first episode and then I've tried it few months later and finally I've realised why everyone loved it ^^. For me it was DO character that I couldn't understand, for me he was "useless " for the story at first, but I was wrong ^^. I really enjoyed watching it :relaxed: .
