He is not a current sitting PM. He has no power. He is just a citizen. Why assassinated him? I don't understand. 🤔

Even though he was no longer in office, he was very influential person in his party. He was longest serving president as well. many japnese were hostile towards his views. And the Assassin also itted he did cause of his connections.
