This drama depicts the life of a princess Deokman, who later becomes queen Seondeok of Shilla, one of the three Korean kingdoms in the 7th century.

She was born as a twin but due to a prophecy she was sent off from the palace with a maid who was suppose to save her life. Later on, destiny brings her back to the palace where she finds out about her true identity and s forces with her sister, trying to fight Mishil, a women wanting to take over the throne.
