10 B-sides You Should Listen To

I firstly wanna apologize for not being as active, a few people quit at work back in January so I now work everyday but Saturday. I don't know if y'all have heard about how the weather is in the southern USA, but here in Texas it got down to -15 Celsius and we got 1.8 meters of snow. I've lost power (and thus internet) multiple times a day as well as losing phone service, so it's been hard to post. But, regardless, in no particular order, here are some of my favorite b-sides that I think you guys should listen to. I hope y'all enjoy!

NCT 127 - Sit Down!

I have been obsessed with this song ever since I first heard it. Johnny's line is quite honestly one of the most iconic things ever?? "Don't get up don't stand up please don't put your hand up, and don't make me tell you again, SIT DOWN" :flushed: like ahem sir I didn't come here to be bias wrecked. Doyoung's "I smell some jealousy, you should just let that be" sounds so angelic lmao. In conclusion, stan NCT and stream Sit Down <3

RAINZ - Somebody

This song always makes me feel so sad and oddly nostalgic. If you're ever in the mood to cry, or just like listening to sad songs, Somebody would be perfect for you. Looking up the English translation was a very big mistake because it only makes me want to cry even more :sob: I think a lot of people can relate to this song (me included :skull: )

WINNER - Fool

Yet another sad song, we've got Fool. Fun fact, Fool was actually the first WINNER song that I liked, I hadn't liked any of the other WINNER songs I'd heard before. I don't where I heard it from but I just know that I fell in love with it immediately. The part right at 3:00-until the song ends is just IMMACULATE. I don't stan WINNER, but I highkey want to :eyes:

The Boyz - Checkmate

Idk if Checkmate really counts as a b-side, but I wanted to include it anyways because, say it with me, Checkmate is The Boyz's best song. Hot take, I know, but it's just sO GOOD. Everything about it is literally perfect. I definitely didn't like it as much when it first came out than I do now (my favorite out of all the RTK releases was ONF's at the time), but you know there's a time when you have to it your wrongdoings :pensive: If I didn't already stan The Boyz, I 100% would because of this song. TBZ supremacy :relieved:

ATEEZ - Aurora

Aurora always gives me such a happy feeling 🥰 it's kinda hard to explain, but this song gives me a really... safe feeling. When I listen to Aurora, it's like everything is gonna be okay. It's really comforting. In turn, I also get a little emotional when it comes on, but such is life :') if you aren't stanning ATEEZ in 2021, you really should change that :relieved:

SuperM - Wish You Were Here

I was a bit stuck on if I should include Wish You Were Here or Better Days, but there's too many songs that make me cry on this list already so I decided on Wish You Were Here :sob: Wish You Were Here was my 3rd top song of the year on Spotify, so it's safe to say I am in love with it. I love the chorus, I love the vocals, it's super catchy, there's nothing to hate about it, in my opinion. It does get a little repetitive which I know a lot of people don't like, but I personally love it. Stan SuperM for clear skin :nail_care:

TREASURE - Going Crazy

Another song that probably technically doesn't count as a b-side but I'm including anyways is Going Crazy. A lot of teumae's understandably got tired of this song because it was literally the only song TREASURE had to call their own for almost two years, but I still love it. I had been patiently waiting for YG to FINALLY put the damn song on Spotify so I could listen to it on repeat without having to deal with YouTube ads, and it finally happened :sob: I still don't understand why people hated on TREASURE for this song bc it slaps, but 🤷‍♀

G-Dragon - Bullshit

When I was trying to figure out what songs to include, I knew that Bullshit had to be one of them. I think this is one of the most iconic b-sides ever. When this album came out I was obsessed with Untitled, 2014 and Bullshit both. I took turns putting them on repeat. I 100% would have bought the album but it only came with a USB and not a CD :skull: anywaysss, Bullshit is the kinda song you can scream along with, I think. At least I do lol. And don't judge me, but the growl at the end is just- *chefs kiss*

NCT U - Misfit

Misfit was my #1 top song of the year on Spotify, so obviously I have to include it. I think Misfit is my favorite NCT song from any subunit, tbh. I don't really know what it is that I love so much, but ever since I watched the music video for the first time, it was just like woah. Seriously, I think Misfit should've been the title track over Make A Wish, but that's just me. The fact that I streamed it 500+ times on Spotify alone in two months says everying you need to know :')

TVXQ! - Love Line

I talk about how much I love this song aLL THE TIME. I love cute/bright concepts, so I very much love Love Line. I'm so happy that it has a music video :sob: Love Line never fails to put me in a really good mood. I've also been thinking recently that it's beem so long (over two years) since TVXQ! had a Korean comeback so I really hope they'll have one soon :pensive:
