i feel like i had to update my bridgerton journey. well, i got the german version of the book yesterday and finished it earlier today. i couldn’t stop reading it?! i'll never touch a romance book again, but OH MY GOD?? obviously it's different to the show, but i'm so in love. reading this book made me scream, giggle and cry. it made me feel so many emotions. i love colin and penelope so much. their story is simply so beautiful and interesting. friends to lovers plus slowburn hits differently :sob: i love this book so much. honestly, i don’t think that i would read another bridgerton book, but i'm so happy that i've read this. these two became even more special to me. i've learnt from sab that books to show isn't always a good idea considering the representation of the crows, so you know i quickly separate the two things and appreciate us getting two versions of the same story between two characters. they made a few big changes when it comes to the show and honestly even though the second part isn't out yet, i don’t mind it. it makes sense to me. for me personally they can’t ruin anything when it comes to the end of their story in the show, because even though it's different, it's amazing. also, we wouldn’t have gotten colin's confession otherwise :flushed: anyway, i'll continue to think about this book, the first part of the season, them and nicola/luke, because these two?! OH MY GOD?! they're so unhinged too, i love it. i absolutely can’t wait for the second part to come out, like i'm obsessed ksjs
